Being One (LGBTQ+)

This is a picture I found that represents those who are Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Pan, Poly, and Ace. I added three more (Demisexual, Transgender, and Genderqueer) in there as well as adding small thins to the ones already there.

Gay men deal with people saying they're disgusting and wrong, and they get stereotyped as well as beat up and fetishized.

Lesbian women deal with relatively the same things as Gay men, although they also deal with being over-sexualized.

Bisexuals are told to 'pick a side' and asked if they want three-ways, and people think they do it to get attention.

Pansexual a deal with being told "Do you fuck pans?" and "So it's basically like Bisexuality." and their identities are dismissed by the small-minded.

Asexuals deal with the world glorifying sex, and make them feel as if something is wrong with them, for not seeing it that way.

Polysexual are shoved to the bottom of the barrel, even in the LGBTQ+ community. Like Pansexuals, they are told that they are just Bisexuals that want to be special. Polyamorous people are constantly called greedy or slutty.

Demisexuals are told time and time again that they are 'just being picky' or that they are biased.

Transgenders are told that they are just being tomboyish/tomgirlish (or they are just a bit more girly or a bit more boyish), that it's just a phase, and that they should be happy in the skin they're in.

Nonbinaries, Genderfluids, and Genderqueers in general are told that there are only two genders, and they are either Male or Female. They can't be both, they can't be one, and they can't be half of one.

Then you have those who's identities are so unknown, it's hard to find posts about them, and nobody ever knows them unless they are apart of the community, or research heavily on the community.

And people who are currently trying to discover their orientations and change their identities at times aren't taken seriously and are considered 'liars'.

All of these are actual problems that need to be addressed.
