I couldn't believe who was standing down the hall from me... It was Kyle, the man who had assaulted me only a few months ago.
A smirked appeared on his face, "Did you change your mind about me, babe?"
I was disgusted at the thought of us together.
"Get out" I said, trying not to show the fear that was inside of me.
"Babe, babe, think this over. Fate has obviously brought us together again, I think it wants you to s*ck my d*ck" He said walking towards me, completely naked.
"Get out." I said once again, but this time firmer.
He kept walking towards me and put his hand on my face. I was frozen with fear, I didn't know what to do. Memories of what had happened flooded my mind and began to panic. He leaned in closer and I couldn't take it any more, "GET OUT!" I shrieked, "GET OUT" I yelled again and again
I slid into the corner of the wall as I screamed, I couldn't do this again. He didn't touch me he just walked away and seemed to do so quickly.
I was crying hard now, everything was catching up to me, Aiden leaving, my mom causing all of this shit, and now him.
He came back out with his clothes and muttered, "Crazy bitch" as he went down the steps.
I heard the door slam and knew he had left. And although he was gone, I sat there, silently crying. I didn't know who to call, if I should even try to find someone to call, or what I should even do.
After a little bit, I heard some noise coming from my old room, she must be up. I forced myself to get up and confront her. I went in and she had knocked over some things that I had left on my nightstand beside my bed, "Why is there so much noise" She groaned as she covered her ears with her hands.
I walked over to the door and slammed it as hard as I could, trying to be as loud as passable. She yelled stop but I didn't care about her stupid hangover.
"What the fuck Tim," she started saying, but stopped when, threw squinting eyes, saw it was me who had made the noise "Oh, Neve it's you" She said with a guilty tone.
"Tim is gone, and is NEVER coming back, do you hear me?" I said coldly. She looked at me with sad eyes but looked away when she realized how angry I was, like a kid being scolded by a parent.
"I'll give you some more time to sleep but then we have things we have to talk about." Before she could reply, I walked out, and yes, I know it's cruel, but I slammed the door again. I walked to the guest bedroom and cleaned up the bottles and pulled the sheets to put the in the washer.
Basically, I cleaned the whole house.
I heard my phone ring downstairs and hurried to get to it before it stopped. It was Marie.
"Hello?" I said, happy to hear a familiar voice.
She didn't say anything so I repeated my greeting, thinking that maybe there was a bad connection. But still, she didn't say anything but I heard her sniff, like she had been crying.
"What's wrong?" I asked with worry
"I need to talk to you." She said, not able to finish the sentence without breaking down.
"I'll be over soon" I said and hung up.
Great, right when I thought the day couldn't get worse.
Not wanting to disturb her, I left mom alone to sleep and left the house making my way to Marie's.
