It's Hinata's second year of highschool and playing on the Karasuno High Volleyball club. But everything has been going downhill for him. His mom had been killed in a car accident and his dad isn't dealing with her death very well and became an alcoholic and abusive. Hinata doesn't want to worry his friends so he doesn't tell anyone, but he can't hide the marks forever. The Karasuno High Volleyball club is getting suspicious of Hinata. He flinches at human contact, is quieter, and is fake smiling. One day, during practice, the volleyball team see his scars and injuries. How will they react? Will Hinata tell his friends what's been going on? Will the Karasuno High Volleyball club help Hinata?
