"Hello Maddie."

"Danny?" I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate. Why was he here? I thought I was safe from him.

"Did you miss me?" He asked walking over to me.

I looked over to Bella who was slowly heading for the door.

"Wh-wh-why are you here? How are you here?" I stuttered.

"A little birdie told me that you were cozying up to someone else and well I couldn't have that now, could I?"

"I haven't been cozying up to anyone."

My left cheek was all of a sudden engulfed in pain.

Tears started to build up in my eyes as I lowered my eyes. I felt someone's fingers lifting up my chin so I was looking into his dark emotionless eyes.

"I missed you babe," Danny said stroking my cheek. "Did you miss me?"

Every part of me wanted to tell him the truth; no. But my head betrayed me and nodded yes.

"Good answer." I felt one of my salty tears escape. "Aww baby, there's no need for that now is there?"

I shook my head no in fear.

"How much did you miss me?"

I opened my mouth to answer but closed it again. Why had Bella done this? I can't do this.

I could see him starting to get more angry as I didn't answer.

"I asked you a question! ANSWER ME!!!"

"Please, stop." I begged.

"Stop? Oh, baby, we're just getting started."

I leant my head back against the wall, tears now pouring freely. He'd been going on for what felt like hours but I had no idea how long it had actually been.

I felt blood trickle down my forehead from where he'd hit me and I'd got my head on the wall. It dropped down onto my upper lip, glistening in the limited light available.

Danny came back over and wiped my lip with his finger before he done the thing I was really hoping he wouldn't.

He kissed me.

It was rough and aggressive. I pulled back and his eyes were full of lust. He leaned back in and I tried desperately to stop him.

"Please... stop," I said trying to push him off. He roughly grabbed my hair and tugged at it. I squealed in pain as my head hit the wall again causing blood to gush out like a waterfall. His hands left my hair and started roaming my body only stopping when he reached my breasts.

I was becoming desperate when we heard a door slam.

He stepped back and glared at me.

"Who is that? Which one of your freaky friends did you call?" He sneered. "WHO IS IT! COME ON THEN, THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH? COME OUT AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN, YOU COWARD!!!" He screamed into the darkness.

I began to shake even more and I was now drowning in my tears.

My heart began to speed up as I saw a figure enter the room.

"COME ON, DID YOUR FATHER NEVER TEACH YOU HOW TO FIGHT LIKE A MAN?"

The figure then started to turn into 2...3...4...5? Oh my God. I figured out who was here.

"Edward?" I whispered hoarsely knowing they could all hear me.

"Did your mother never teach you to not touch a lady without her permission," Edward growled in anger.

Danny seemed to figure that he was outnumbered so he did the only thing he was good at; run away.

I saw the door he was running to slam shut with a powerful force. Four figures began to surround him.

Four? I looked at the figures and managed to distinguish who was who. There was Edward, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie all surrounding him.

Where's Alice?

"Maddie?" I quite voice said next to me.

"Alice?" I whispered back.

I saw her head nod slightly and I leant into her arms. I just held onto her in fear of him coming back.

"I've got you, come on let's get you out of here."

She slowly helped me to my feet but I leant back against the wall lightheaded.

"You need a doctor."

"No, please. If we see a doctor, they'll ask questions and then Charlie will get involved and Bella will get in trouble and I don't want her in trouble," I rambled.

"Maddie, she did this to you."

"I know but please, don't. She's still my sister."

Alice stepped forward to help me but I could feel my sight going. I tried to walk with her but my legs felt so heavy.

They gave way and my whole body fell into darkness once again.
