Let's get one thing straight, I am not a fan of sport. In a way I'm like Bella in that category. The only difference is I will play it and if I put my head into it, I can play well. Bella is a little too clumsy for most sports, but oh well.

After our shopping trip yesterday, Edward had dropped me off at home and I had sat with my dad for a couple of hours just watching this really strange animal documentary on snakes.

Flashback:

We had only been watching it for a while before Dad decided to try and make conversation.

"So how are things with you Edward?" Dad asked.

"Good, things are going good," I replied.

"Have you spoken to Bella lately?" Dad asked, turning the tv down.

"Nope," I answered bluntly.

"You should," Dad suggested.

"And say what? Oh hey, Bella! Last time we spoke, you were handing me over to my abusive ex. Wow, what a great relationship we have. We should definitely do it again sometime," I said sarcastically.

"Ok, maybe you're right. She can be a little...extra but she's still your sister," Dad shrugged.

"If I do ever speak to her again, I'm gonna need a bloody good reason for it," I muttered.

"Fine, it's just I don't like seeing you two not speaking to each other," Dad sighed.

"I spent three days in hospital because of her. Not exactly something that is easily forgiven," I told him.

"I understand, we'll just give it time," Dad agreed.

"Also tomorrow afternoon I'm going out with Edward and his family for a game of baseball," I said.

"Ok that's fine. Just be back before tea," Dad said, turning the tv back up.

End of flashback

In the morning, I got up as I usually do and started to get ready for school. First things first, outfit.

I decided I would save my other outfits for a more special occasion than school

I decided I would save my other outfits for a more special occasion than school. Next I ran a brush through my hair and just left it handing down my back. This morning I couldn't really be bothered to do my makeup so I left my face bare and went downstairs.

When I got down, I was immediately hit with the smell of waffles but they smelt different. They smelt almost as if they were...burning! Shit!

I ran through to the kitchen and saw Dad opening up the windows.

"You know, that isn't going to make any difference if you leave the waffles cooking," I told him, going over and stopping the waffles from burning any more.
