It's the next day, marking 5 years since the accident causing the death of Kimberly's family. It's early Friday morning and Kimberly's day already doesn't start off in a good way.
Kimberly: "NO NO NO! MOMM! DADDY! NO! WAKE UP MOMMY!"
Debra: "Kimberly! Kimberly wake up!"
Kimberly: "W-what happened where's my...oh yeah"
Debra: "Was it another bad dream about the accident?"
Kimberly: "Yes"
Kimberly starts crying and her aunt embraces her in a tight hug and lies down next to her and allows Kimberly to let all her tears out.
Kimberly: "Thank you for the hug, I needed it"
Debra: "Anytime Kimmy I am here for you always, now you get some rest its 3 in the morning you have school in 4 hours"
Kimberly: "Okay"
Debra places a kiss on her forehead and leaves the room. Kimberly tries to fall asleep again but she just can't, she keeps thinking about the dream and how much she misses her family. She decides to stay awake and watch some TV in her room hoping the day would already be over.
*a few hours later*
Kimberly is already and dressed for school; even though she didn't really want to go, she had no other choice. Today was not her day, she just felt like crawling back into bed and sleeping for the rest of her life.
Debra: "Good morning sunshine! Ready for the day?"
Kimberly: "You seem very cheerful this morning"
Debra: "Its Friday why not, now I know today is a very hard day for you but I want you to know that I love you and that you are just as strong as your mother so I know you will get through this day even though there might be a lot of burden on your heart, just know you are not alone and if you need to talk that I am here ok? And also if you'd like...I will take you to your parent's grave if you would like and answer some of your questions, since it is your birthday today as well"
Kimberly: "You remembered that it's my birthday?"
Debra: "of course and I know you probably don't want to celebrate you teenagers of today don't do those things so I thought that my gift would be to take you to their grave, if you want to and answer some things you don't remember, I mean after being in a coma for almost 5 years after what happened I'm sure you're curious since you don't remember much too and I figure now's the right time too, would you like that."
Kimberly: "Yes"
Tears start forming in Kimberly's eyes as she embraces her in a tight hug and they both stand in silence for a few minutes till eventually they both have to leave. Debra drives Kimberly to school before leaving for work.
Debra: "Enjoy your day Kimberly, don't worry you got this and before I forget, this is for you..."
She gives Kimberly a necklace with a picture of her, her mother, father and little brother.
Debra: "it was your mothers and I thought you should have it"
Kimberly: "I love it thank you"
Debra drives away and Kimberly walks into school.
Kimberly: "I can do this, it's a short day..."
*A few hours later*
A few hours later Kimberly has made it to lunch and is now looking for a place to sit. She sees an open table and goes to sit alone and avoids making eye contact with anyone. She finishes her lunch and gets up to throw the tray in the bin, as she leaves the cafeteria she feels she is being followed, she looks behind her but sees no one in particular, mainly because the halls are full of kids walking around. She continues walking and walks into the girl's bathroom and into one of the stalls. Suddenly she hears a sound, the door to the bathroom opens and she hears slow footsteps.
Kimberly: "Hello? Whose there"
No reply was given to her. She suddenly sees a pair of black shoes outside her bathroom stall and she starts to panic. She gets up quick and flushes.
Kimberly: "Whose there!"
The unknown person slips a piece of paper under her stall and walks away. She waits a few minutes and it's absolutely quiet. She gets a fright when a bunch of girls enters the bathroom laughing and talking loudly. She quickly grabs the notes and her bag and storms out of the bathroom and the girls watch as she leaves. She goes about the rest of her day. As soon as she got home she drops her bag and takes out the note and placed it on her bed. She hesitated whether or not to read it but decided to read it since the suspense was killing her. She opens the note and as she reads the note, she turns completely pale she feels as if the life was drained out of her, she falls on her bed in complete shock and does not know what to do. She feels as if this is some sick joke, she immediately starts crying and screaming and tears up the note.
Kimberly: "Why would someone do something like this! This is sick"
* Note: "Your brother is alive" *
