Kimberly: "Where are we going"
Beth: "It's a surprise Kim, you'll just have to wait and see", replied to her over excited 12 year old daughter.
As they continue driving Kimberly gets impatient and falls asleep in the back seat, a few minutes later she is woken up by her mother
Beth: "Kimberly are you awake? We're finally here".
Kimberly jumps up and doesn't hesitate to look out the window to see where they had driven so long to. When she realizes where they are she screams with excitement and jumps out of the car and screams...
Kimberly: "DISNEY WORLD! WE'RE AT DISNEY WORLD!"
Her mother and father start laughing and Kimberly runs to her parents embracing them in a long tight hug thanking them for bringing her to the place she's wanted to go her whole life.
*A few hours later*
They spend a few hours at Disney world doing whatever Kimberly wanted to do. Around 8pm they decided it was time to leave because they had a long drive home.
Kimberly: "Mom can we go on one more ride please?"
Beth: "No honey, unfortunately we have to leave now we don't want to be on the road to late, maybe next time we can okay?"
Kimberly was upset that they had to leave her most favorite place but she agreed because she was exhausted and wanted to sleep. Beth, Kimberly and Kimberly's baby brother Marcus were seated in the car while waiting for Thomas to return from the bathroom so they could leave. Ten minutes later Thomas returns from the bathroom and starts the car
Thomas: "Did you have fun today honey?"
Kimberly: "yes I did dad, can we come again tomorrow?"
Thomas: "Unfortunately not Kimmy, you have school tomorrow and I have to go to work as well but we'll definitely come back soon"
Kimberly: "okay daddy"
As they set off for their destination back home Kimberly falls asleep in the back seat of the car along with her baby brother. It's is now very dark out and Thomas has a problem with driving in the dark
Beth: "Take your time Hun, no need to rush; you know that you have a problem with driving at night."
Thomas: "Its ok I know what I'm doing we'll be home in no time"
*A few minutes later*
A few minutes go by and Kimberly wakes up and starts singing to what do you mean by Justin Bieber playing on the radio in the car.
Kimberly: "how long still dad"
Thomas: "Not long Kimmy"
She continues singing to the music playing in the car. Suddenly the car is filled with screams coming from Beth and Thomas.
Beth: "Thomas what is that! Thomas look out!!"
Thomas sees something in the middle of the road as he goes at an alarming speed rate and tries pushing on the breaks but he's too close to the object, the car goes spinning off the road and everyone in the car is screaming as the car slides off the road, flips upside down and tumbles down a mud hill alongside the road and hits the ground after a long travel down. Luckily there was a car driving behind them that saw everything happen and immediately call for help. Paramedics were on the scene a few minutes later and immediately tried to see if there are any survivors. All the family members were rushed to hospital after recovered from the crash.
*later at the hospital*
Beth's sister recived the news about what happened and rushed to hospital...
Debra: "Hi I'm here to see my family they were just brought in from a car crashed, it's my sister her husband and their children please tell me where I can find them."
Receptionist: "Let me check for you... yes third floor they are currently in ICU"
Debra: "Thank you"
Debra rushes up to the third floor where she runs into one of the doctors exiting the ICU.
Debra: "Hi can you please help me I'm looking for my sister her name is Beth Lopez and she was recently in a car accident with her husband and kids, I was told they are in ICU"
Griffin: "Hi my name is Doctor Griffin Johnson and I'm sorry to tell you mam but they didn't make it"
Debra: "W-what?"
Griffin: "I'm sorry mam the accident was so intense Ms. Lopez, Mr. Lopez and their son didn't make it"
Debra: "W-wait what about their daughter?"
Griffin: "Their daughter? Oh no she's the only one who survived the crash but she's in a coma."
Debra starts to cry and Doctor Griffin tries to comfort her, she asks if she could see Kimberly and the doctor shows her to Kimberly's room. Debra slowly walks into Kimberly's room and sees her hooked up to all types of machines. She walks up to her bed side and takes her hand and starts talking to her to try and get a reaction out of her but Kimberly made no movement. Suddenly something starts happening to Kimberly, she starts shaking uncontrollably and Debra gets scared
Debra: "NURSE! NURSE! HELP! DOCTOR GRIFFIN!"
*Doctors storm into the room*
Nurse: "Mam you're going to have to leave"
Debra: "No what's happening, what's wrong with her? IS SHE GOING TO BE OK!
Debra is dragged out of the room while her niece is having a fit and there's nothing she can do. Debra decides to wait in the waiting room and starts crying awaiting news back from the doctor.
