After a good dinner date Alex and Kimberly head back home. They arrive at Kimberly’s house and Alex walks her to her front door.

Alex: “Now are you sure you don’t want me to sleep over another night?”
Kimberly: “I’ll be okay, and plus I can’t expect you to sleep over every night otherwise I’m never going to want to let you go home again.”
Alex: “Well that wouldn’t be a problem for me now would it,” he says playfully while pulling her closer to him.
Kimberly: “Of course you would like that, but I have to tidy up the house before my aunt gets home tomorrow and I don’t want to be responsible for explaining why our neighbor is in my bed,” she says seriously.
Alex: “Fine but if you need anything and I mean anything just text me I’m right next door,” he says as he winks at her.
Kimberly: “I’ll keep that in mind.”
Alex: “Hey we're dating now and it’s my duty to take care of you okay, even if were a doorstep away.”

She nods and blushes at the fact that he said the “D” word out loud. He kisses her goodnight before heading home. Kimberly goes inside the house and goes straight to the shower. She changes into sweat pants, an oversized hoodie and puts her hair into a bun and plans of ending her Saturday night on the couch watching Geordie Shore. There’s a knock at the door and Kimberly looks confused.

Kimberly: “Who visits at 9 at night?”

The knocking gets louder and more aggressive and Kimberly runs to the door and looks through the peephole to see who it is.

Kimberly: “Michael Le?”

She opens the door and in front of her is Michael Le with a tub of ice cream and a bag full of other snacks.

Michael Le: “Finally I thought I was going to have to break the door down.”
Kimberly: “What are you doing here this time of the night Michael?”

She looks around worried Alex might see Michael at her door and she doesn’t want any fights between her boyfriend and one of her friends.

Michael Le: “Remember I said I was going to visit you this weekend to check up of you to make sure you’re okay and you said if I bring ice cream that-“
Kimberly: “I know what I said,” she says aggressively.
Michael Le: “Well someone isn’t having a good day good thing I’m here with all this food.”

She invites him inside before someone sees them together.

Kimberly: “Michael it’s late why did you decide to come now I mean I was about to head to bed,” she lies.
Michael Le: “Come on Kim just a few more hours, it’s still early and plus its Saturday night it’s not like you had anything better to do besides watching Geordie Shore. Just chill with me for a few hours and then I’ll leave.”

She takes a long pause before nodding in agreement.

Kimberly: “Fine just a few hours.”
Michael Le: “Thank you oh and I brought movies.”
Kimberly: “I’ll get the snacks ready while you set up the movie.”
Michael Le: “Deal!”

Michael heads to the living room to get the movie read while Kimberly sorts the snacks out in the kitchen. After finishing the snacks she joins Michael on the couch leaving just enough space between them.  She decides to text Alex telling him that Michael is at her place and wouldn’t leave but Alex never responded, she decides to leave her phone and watch the movie.

Michael Le: “Hey how come you’re sitting so far away, I don’t bite.”
Kimberly: “Uhm it’s nothing I just prefer my personal space,” she says uncomfortably.
Michael Le: “Come on Kim I know you better than that move closer you can lay on my shoulder.”

Kimberly gets a bit scared but decides to listen to him. She moves closer to him and puts her head on his shoulder. He plays with her hair as she lies on his shoulder.
