Chapter 21

I lunged for Lorena first since she appeared as the leader. At that same time Dimitri went after Tasha. She punched me across the face while my stake slit open her arm.

There were four more strigoi's the others were taking care of them as planned.

She was fast i was blocking most of her hits until i saw something out the corner of my eye. That bitch Tasha tried kissing Dimitri while fighting that was big mistake that distracted me.

Lorena took advantage of it kicking me into the wall. I slowly stood up broke a rib for sure. What happen next shocked me Lorena pulled Tasha by her hair away from Dimitri.

Tasha clawed at her face they began to fight. Me and Dimitri starred at each other confused but yet amused. We sat back to see who would kill who first then kill whoever won.

I never saw obessed Strigoi before but i could barely keep back a giggle. Lorena had Tasha head in a weird bent position. Me and Dimitri tensed looks like Tasha was loosing.

Lorena pulled off Tasha's head and set her body on fire. We attacked her that same second stakes slashing into her shoulder and neck. She stumbled from all the blood lost glarring at Dimitri.

"Fine if i cant have you no one will" she hissed throwing a knife out to quickly at Dimitri. I gasped as it headed for his heart he shifted just in time. The blade went into his shoulder instead i was relieved,my heart was pounding!

Lorena had me beyond pissed off. I jumped on her back digging the stake in so many times. She screamed with every plung i did i twist her neck her body fell. I quickly jumped down plung my stake into her heart again and again.

Dimitri came over "Roza she is dead" i stopped grabbed him as he stumbled. The other strigoi looked to be dead as well we all left. No word yet on the others they had alot more strigoi.

I took Dimitri to the hospital to get his stab womb treated. They made him stay over night i left a guardian to watch him along with his stake. Just in case any random strigoi attacks.

Me and the others left to help in the bigger battle. I notice dead bodies all around mostly strigoi some guardians. I left to join the fights upstairs those appear to be the where the most difficult strigoi lingered.

I killed three strigoi's coming up the stairs. I saw my mother fight two at one time. A third was sneaking up on her i ran but i was to late. The strigoi bite into her neck i ran faster to stab it in the neck then the heart.

The other two were walking circles around us. My mom was still alive but had a big hole in her neck loosing blood quickly. I rip half my shirt off threw one stake into the strigoi's chest with all my strength.

Pulling out my second stake the last strigoi watch as his friend was killed. I took those seconds to tie my mom's neck to stop bleeding so much. Attacking the last i slid under him stabbing him between the legs.

He screamed louder than any strigoi id ever he made a mistake to look down. By the time he looked back up my stake was into his heart. Other guardians were coming in moments later.

Thank you Rose those three were impossible to take down. My mother was given a shot then something burned on her neck to stop the bleeding she screamed. We rushed her to the same hospital as Dimitri.

After hours of my nerves going crazy her doctor finally returned. Mrs.Belikov he called i ran over your mother hurt badly but she will fine. Janine lost alot of blood few broken ribs and wrist but she will heal in time.

Were going to keep her here for a while until she heals a little. Actually we have our own private doctor they will call you in morning about having them transferred. He nodded they think were like some undercover CIA people.
