When she said she would only be gone for a moment, the last thing Adalie wanted was the little girl to leave safety of her room and follow her.

She found her standing near some old boxes, needle in hand with a nervous look in her eyes after being caught doing what she wasn't supposed to do.

Adalie was seconds away from yelling at the girl to go back before the ferocious cries of frenzied splicers interrupted her. Frenzied splicers who were too hooked up on ADAM to forget their human sense, and immediately went crazy at the sight of any little sister.

She screamed at her to run, which she immediately did as Adalie was forced to fight off the minor horde. The last things Estrella heard behind her were the screams and anguished cries of the splicers getting killed.

She didn't know how long she was running for, or where exactly to stop. She didn't know her current surroundings, or any other place that safe enough to stop and wait for Adalie to come get her.
She quickly got tired of running, resulting in her stopping near a massive box of crates almost tall enough to touch the ceiling. She tucked herself in a small crevice behind a crate, keeping her gun cradled to her chest as she listened for anything.

The dripping water, the faint footsteps of people she didn't know, the old music she no longer cared for echoing down each and every area she went. It took her a minute to realize she was alone again, wondering if Adalie ever saw where exactly she ran if she was looking for her at this very second.

Tears began to flood her eyes once she realized she was alone again in this dark, scary place. Her Golden Knight was gone, and now Adalie was gone too. She should've just stayed where she was at the room, patiently waiting for her new protector to come back. But no, she had to follow because she was too scared of being alone.

She burst out into tears, realizing now that she was truly in fact alone.

"Come on Daddy, let's go this way."

In her state, she heard another voice, a new voice.
It sounded much different than any other voice she had heard before. It was an accented voice, echoing down the hallway Estrella had arrived from.
The little voice was accompanied by unfamiliar massive footsteps, which sounded more heavier than any she had heard before.

She tried to sit up a bit onto her knees, using the boxes to her advantage to peek out without being seen, wondering what it could be.

Without realizing, she had accidentally leaned too much against the box, causing it to shift and create an uncomfortably loud screeching sound against the floor.

"Hold on, what was that?" The little voice asked, causing Estrella to step away from the box. Her gun which had been tucked under her shoulder slipped away, falling to the ground with a loud clink.

"The box is making noise Daddy, is it alive?"

The large footsteps started walking closer, the more close it got, the more the ground would shake, the more the boxes began to rattle loudly in distress, making her all the more afraid.

A large hand picked up the crate closest to her, lifting it up and away with such ease, stacking it on top of another box. A bright yellow light lit up the small area Estrella was in, almost making her scream if not only for the view she was given.

She was greeted with a very, very tall metal being, with a helmet made of copper so polished it looked like pure gold. With its few glass lights staring down at her, she was basking in the well known yellow glow. A glow much like her eyes gave off.
