"Come back Ella!" Eleanor yelled out for the little girl to hear, but all she could make out was her still running away.

She kept running as if they were evil Splicers, but they were nothing of the sort.

Eleanor didn't understand what was wrong with her, but she simply couldn't let her run off and get lost again. Who knows who will find her without someone to protect her.

Luckily, Delta was very fast in chasing after her, his own instincts kicking in to protect the girl even if he wasn't bonded with her. Their was something about her that he didn't understand.
Sure, the body was an ugly sight, but Eleanor never saw that. However, Estrella did.

The fear of a dead body and whatever else she witnessed while being out her alone made him all the more curious, but he wasn't ready to see you get hurt or killed with whatever was roaming around waiting to steal any little sister for ADAM.

As Rapture slowly fell apart, the amount of those who've quickly succumbed to ADAM and it's horrid benefits began to steadily increase. It's resulted in those who've gone insane to attack those who weren't, resulting in robberies and killings, all for one thing.

Those who were sane enough to know right from wrong were trying their hardest to stay away from the Splicers, attempting to live their daily lives like nothing happened as the city of Rapture slowly came crashing down into chaos.
None unfortunately paid much mind to a screaming girl in a red dress running from something, very well knowing the dangers of what would happen if they tried to help her. It meant death by two ways, and neither of them were any better than the other.

Estrella tripped quickly after stepping into a puddle of water from a broken pipe, her gun falling out of her hands in order to catch herself, the collision quickly making her realize how exhausted she had been during her running episode. She got up to her knees slowly, bursting into immediate tears on the floor. Not only was she alone again, but her head began to hurt tremendously due to everything she's seen on top of the growing stress.

Not only that, she was absolutely starving. She hadn't eaten anything since she woke up, causing the beautiful world she knew to cease existing, revealing to her the ugly world morphing into something more chaotic as the days rolled by.

A faint humming began to ring through the air, a female's tone humming an oddly familiar tune that seemed to lesson the pain in Estrella's mind.

She moved her hands from her wet face to listen, wondering where the sound was coming from. She sat quietly, hearing the tune sound much louder this time, and somehow all the more comforting to hear.

The fragrant ambrosia scent began to tickle her nose, causing her to sniffle as her hunger was beginning to be unbearably painful.

Estrella began to follow that wonderful smell, blindly walking like a dog following a scent with their nose. Her needle rattled against the floor's surface as she dragged it behind her, caring less if it were brittle enough to break.

While she was walking, her chest began to feel warm as her crying episode ended. The warmth began to feel comforting, as if the sun was radiating down on her on a summer day.

The sun? Sunshine? I've felt it before, haven't I? Yeah, it's the big yellow ball in the sky. But where's the sky?

It was incredibly rare for Estrella to think these things, usually finding them silly. Only now, while blindly following a scent did her mind finally proceed to wonder what sunshine is, what it feels like. Nice and warm, and incredibly bright.
