The echo of metal boots rang throughout the long abandoned corridor. Walking down the same steps she once did sent a horrid shiver down her spine, but that wasn't what she came here for.

She remembered this place the second she recognized the abandoned party rooms, the ones that once played loud music and held what remained of Rapture's upper class. Now it only housed the ghosts of the past, and the occasional Splicer who wandered back to relive the memories before ADAM stole it from them.

She stopped in a particular area that brought plenty of tension down her shoulders. She stepped over the small crater where a massive drill made a dent on the ground, and stopped towards the area that was long stained with a sizable amount of murky brown.

Something wasn't right, she knew right away. She didn't know when it happened, but at some point the body she expected to be there when she found the place was gone. A lot of reasons could've been someone dragging the body off, perhaps scavenged or worse. It ruined her expectations of seeing him one last time, leaving her standing in the spot where she felt a part of herself die with him.

With this new information, the anger in her only erupted more as the ache in her chest erupted into a burst of hot fire. The anger made her want to kill the Splicers that roamed the streets, knowing no other better person to take out her anger on than them.

The Vita Chamber stood out like a sore thumb against the dark, dreary room of the Adonis Resort. Its distinctive blue light flickered every once in a while that so few would notice. A fine layer of mist proceeded to escape as the thick glass doors slowly opened, as if you were to talk into a freezer.
The figure inside stood tall, barely managing to fit inside the chamber to begin with. One would suspect the figure to step out of the chamber, but instead, gravity played a part in forcing the metal clad beast forward, causing a loud slam as it fell to the ground accompanied by a splash of water from the deep puddles that lingered along the floors.

What seemed to have awoken him was the eerie screeches of a radio irritating his ears, awakening him from his unrequited slumber. Among the scratches was a voice, frail and alarmed, and heavy with her own accent.

"Hello? Hello - - can you hear me? Your- your signal. It is very faint-"

The rest was quickly lost to the static before cutting off completely just as the metal clad beast proceeded to gain consciousness, momentarily distressed just as he took his first raspy breaths.
His arms were heavy as he regained feeling in them, momentarily caught off guard by the heaviness of his suit. He glanced over to his own hands, heavily perplexed as he took a glance at himself in the reflection of the water he laid in, staring at the yellow reflection through the portholes.

He stood up from the ground, taking a look at the unfamiliar area he was in. He didn't recognize this place at all, especially in its long ruined state.

The place was dark with deep puddles littering the ground. Thick barnacles were on various surfaces along with bright fuchsia pink coral growing like awkward statues.
Across from him was a mural lit up by a single light, lighting up a small portion of the wall where various photos of men and women in black at white, as if it was all a memorial to them.

Up above were large words painted in white, covering whatever artwork that used to be there.

Fallen.
Fallen is Babylon.

Delta wandered through the resort with his mind lost in a cloudy haze, confused with every odd path he went through why everything was such a mess. He never truly paid attention to it before, but last time he could recall it didn't look as bad as this. Now everywhere he went, all he could find was Rapture ten years deep into chaos, with Splicers attacking anything that moved.
