The first steps of freedom after being trapped somewhere for so long was supposed to be blissful and perfect. While freedom the moment she walked out those doors felt incredible, it came crashing down the second she realized she was alone. Again.

As terrifying as it was to wander around the streets of Rapture, hiding at every moment when it came to hearing a crazed Splicer or worse, she didn't miss being at Fontaine Futuristics at all.

In fact, it took her a couple of days to wander towards a specific area she had in mind. A place she had seen on every map she found, feeling content with it the closer she got.

As Estrella walked down the cold wet hallway,  darkened with broken lights and reeking of wet mold and sea water, She took the time to think of what would happen after she discovers what she was looking for. It's not like She could call it a day and go home; their wasn't any turning back now.

She stopped and kept a glance at the next map she found, crossing her arms to keep warm as the red cherry sleeping gown she was wearing provided little warmth. Her bare feet were dirty and freezing after days of walking in water puddles and unknown substances. At the very least, with only a few days into Rapture she was quickly learning how to scavenge for food. She came across a storage area to the back of some ruined lounge, and found lots of canned goods and packaged snacks. She picked what she could to carry in a partially dirty backpack on her back, and wished she could've taken more before she heard Splicers coming her way.

"It's this way sweetheart. Just up ahead."

That voice. That ever soothing voice entered her mind as she wondered which path to take next broke her thoughts. After that, the startle was quickly overcome by an ever familiar pain in her head.

Here? Now? She thought as she proceeded along a path. It's been a while since she heard the voices, maybe that could've been a sign?

A sweet smell filled the air, new and different. A cool, comforting, fragrant wave of scents that delivered odd emotions the more she followed along. It smelled better than anything she had ever come across in Rapture, that place that always smelled like the sea.

It smelled a bit... earthy, yeah, she knew that word, and flowery. Like perfume, but more subtle, yet undeniably sweet.

When she entered through the doorway, She was welcomed to a lush green carpet of grass, Green grass. Brighter than any green she's seen before.

From the grass grew trees. Tall large trees with branches that stretched out towards the limited space around them. Some of them were even a bright friendly pink, full of flowers that released their petals like confetti to the grass.

A stone path lined along the entrance with blades of grass sticking through them, leading towards strange metal frame doors. She was content to step along the stone path at first before letting herself linger along the grass. It was slightly soft, yet a bit spiky and scratchy. It was a fun sensation, making her a little amused.

This is Arcadia. She finally found it after days of wandering for it. Here is the place with the name that lingered along the voices she heard for years. Maybe this would be her chance to figure out everything that happened.

"Easy there, we don't want you to run off somewhere you don't know yet."

Another voice came into her mind, this time a male's voice. It wasn't unfamiliar to hear this one once in a while, she was more used to hearing the woman's. It didn't change anything about the pain that followed.
