The others, who were glaring at Ben's parents outside Fairy Godmother's office.
"What is he doing?" Belle asked, sounding worried "He was seen with Mal, I hope he's safe..."
"He is safe, it's Mal we're taking about" Evie said "I understand your concern but Mal loves Ben, she won't hurt him and he won't allow it either. He knows the risk but he wants peace for Auradon"
"If he wanted peace then he shouldn't put down the barrier" Adam muttered to himself.
"He wants equality" Evie argued "He wants to give the kids on the Isle a chance. He knows the condition you guys left the Isle in, he knows the kids are innocent and are only doing what their parents are telling them to do. Ben is what Auradon needs and he knows Mal is a key to the future of Auradon"
They stayed silent, Evie knowing she won.
"Can't you open the door?" Carlos asked Jane.
"No, my mother has a spell on it" Jane said "It only opens when she wants people in"
"So she's doing something important" Jay said.
"Maybe...just maybe they found a cure" Audrey said "Mal was saying she was talking to Zeus, maybe he gave a cure"
"It's impossible" Belle said "There's no cure for it"
"That you know" Uma said bitterly "Or you would have made sure it was destroyed"
"And you say we're the villains" Harry said, making both Belle and Adam glare angry at Harry and Uma.
They all snap their heads to the sound of Mal's scream from the other side of the door.
They came rushing in, not recognising that they went into a room few people see.
They gasped as they saw the scene.
Hades and Maleficent holding an unconscious Fairy Godmother, and Ben, with bleeding dripping down his face, in tears as he held Mal on the ground, who looked dead.
"Mother!" Jane exclaimed worried, rushing to Hades and Maleficent.
"She is just exhausted" Hades said "She cured myself and hopefully Mal"
"Wait what?" Evie asked "Did you just say what I thought you said?"
"The curse is gone" Hades said "I was successful but both Mal and Fairy Godmother got knocked out so we don't know if Mal is cured or not"
"Why did you not go through us first?" Adam asked.
"Because the curse was getting out of hand and both Hades and Mal were at risk of scrumming to it as their stabilisers werent working" Ben said, looking at his father "And Fairy Godmother knew, since she had the cure the whole time and knows the side effects, did whatever she could to cure Hades and Mal"
"But now Fairy Godmother is out of action because of your childish ones!" Belle said.
"Childish?" Maleficent asked coldly, glaring at Adam and Belle who immediately went on guard "Your son saved not only these two lives but the lives of many more...I do not think it is childish, I think it was king like"
"King-like? Who are you to say-"
"Can you shut your mouth?" Ben pleaded "We don't need this now, we need to get Fairy Godmother and Mal recovering"
He turned to Maleficent and Hades.
"Can any of you sense if she's okay?" He asked.
Maleficent looked at Hades, who sighed.
"She is cured" Hades said, making almost everyone give a sigh of relief "However she is in a coma-like state...its up to her now"
Ben looks down at Mal, smiling sadly through his tears.
"Come on Mal" Ben whispered, hugging her "Please fight it, please come back to me"
Audrey walked over to Ben and crouched down.
She put her hand on his shoulder, smiling softly as he looked at her.
"She will be okay" Audrey said "She fought so hard for her father and you...she won't give it up easily"
"I won't give up on her" Ben said "We need to get both Fairy Godmother and Mal to the hospital quickly"
"Son, don't you think-"
"Haven't you two done enough damage?" Ben asked coldly, standing up and faced Belle and Adam "When will you learn that you're offending everyone with every decision you made"
Ben bent down and picked up Mal, carrying her bridal style.
He couldn't shake the feeling that Mal is way lighter than an average.
He ignored his parents pitiful stares as he went out the room, not looking back.
~~~~~~~
I groaned, waking up in a black room, making me confused.
Where am I?
I tried to stand up, my legs shaking.
The pain is still there but it is numbing.
My head is still slightly dizzy, making me even more confused as my eyes couldn't focus in the darkness.
Am I actually opening my eyes or am I in my head?
"You're in your head" I heard a voice said.
Compared to the cold voice which came with the curse this one was warm and squeaky, making me widen my eyes.
I summoned my flame, making me gasp as I saw it was still the blue/green.
"I thought I was cured?" I asked out loud.
"You have been" A darker, booming voice said "This is just in your head, it is your imagination"
I noticed to figures walking towards me, a noticeable white outlining both of them.
One was quiet small, smaller than me while the other towered over him and myself.
"Are you the Creator and the Villain?" I asked.
The smaller one nodded.
"We are" the squeaky voice said, making me assume it is the smaller one "I am the creator, he is the villain"
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"You are in a coma" the darker voice said "It is up to you weather you live or die"
"I want to live" I pleaded "Please get me home"
"Your body and soul needs a rest" the smaller one said.
Suddenly a large light lit up the dark room from behind me.
I turned to notice a massive cauldron which was lit up with a massive flame...the blue, green flame.
"This flame is your life" the creator explained "As long as it's lit you will survive...if it dies then your soul will go and rest in the underworld forever"
"How will I know when I'm ready?" I asked.
"When you will decide" the villain said.
"Decide?" I asked, confused.
"Good and evil"
I turned my head to them, the familiar figures more noticeable in the light.
"I can't chose between them, that's impossible!" I exclaimed "I am both, I can't survive without the other"
The creator chuckled.
"I know" the creator said, making me confused as both of them disappeared into the darkness.
Leaving me alone.
