strangers

Everybody begins as strangers,
And since we're strangers, we always felt danger.
Always prepare your dagger,
Coz it might save you later.

Some strangers are kind,
While some are out of their mind.
Some, friendships are what they'll find,
And of course they can give each other's time.

You and me,
We can be friends.
Each others scars we can mend,
Even for each other we aren't meant.

Yes, we aren't meant to be together,
But I was expecting we will be friends forever.
I never thought that you could bring me to danger,
So I was expecting that I'd never feel betrayed.

I never knew you love to play games,
With your innocent and naive look, I was tamed.
With all the secrets we've shared,
I never expected that I'd feel ashamed.

You've betrayed me,
I was hurt, but you felt glee.
I was tamed and was blinded to see,
See what you intended to be.

I was a pawn,
A pawn to your game.
Your game of shame,
Where everyone would be tamed.

Because of your betrayal,
I learned what is denial.
The way you hurted me was crucial,
Why? Because you're too cruel.
