Chapter 17 - Fangtastic

Sans had been carrying you the whole way, probably trying to keep you safe. Fuyumi rolled her eyes, but walked alongside you both.

You saw a large purple building ahead, and flinched. This was a gym.

You looked over at Sans, and he smiled at you.

"I haven't gotten the badges from here in Unova. A few of my friends are gym leaders here. Including some people you know."

After Sans headed inside, Fuyumi waiting outside for you, you were amazed. Spider webs adorned the top of the building, Spinarak and Ariados resting in them, looking at you.

Galvantuala and Joltic also were up in the webs.

A female's voice echoed through the large hallway.

"Ahuhuhu! Well, dear, what brings you to my gym? Are you here for a battle?"

Sans nodded, "Yes I am, Muffet. Yes I am..."

Sans made his way through the hall, making it to the stadium. A purple spider stood there, smiling at you.

"Why hello there, Sans! I didn't realise it was you who came for a battle. Ahuhu~... let's have fun, shall we~?"

And the battle begun.

You growled when Sans sent you out. He knew you were still an Eevee. Maybe he was trying to train you up a bit.

First came out a Joltic. This was an easy battle. It tried to use thundershock, but you dodged, jumping into the air.

"Shadow Ball!"

You used it, and Joltic easily was down after that.

Then came out Spinarak.

A bit tougher, but still easy nonetheless. You managed to get off a shadow ball, before it trapped you in a web.

It wasn't a very strong web, but...

"Use bug bite!"

You were in trouble...

You broke free, dodging and countering with Swift.

You had won...

Oh yeah, and I forgot to say...

Sans left his pokemon back in the pokemon centre. Other than you and Fuyumi, he was on his own.

So you battled, and won easily.

You jumped for joy when you did, because you didn't mind it. It was actually fun to battle like this.

Sans got the badge, picked you up, and waved. "See you later Muffet!"

"See you later, dearie~."

When you were both out, you let out a cry of victory at the new badge that looked like a black widow.

It had a purple teacup design on the abdomen, and shined in the light.

With that, you went on to the next gym.

Bug gym is usually first so I decided why not.
