The thought of battling a friend hurt, but Casey said she needed the training.

You growled, allowing Sans to guide you to use moves that you are skilled at.

"(Y/n), Shadow Ball!"

You charged it, but Chikorita had acted weirdly. She had tackled without Casey's command.

You dodged, jumping into the air and using the move you were told to, but Chikorita again acted without permission from Casey.

You were hit with a razor leaf, falling to the ground. You stood up, hearing the taps of Chikorita running towards you.

Your eyes opened, glowing (f/c)..

Two can play at this game...

You ignored everything, using moves like you had done in the wild. You had tunnel vision, focused on one thing. Winning this battle.

Sans POV:

(Y/n) had just straight up ignored me...

"(Y/n), come on, snap out of it!" I yelled, but she didn't listen. Casey looked at me in shock.

"She hasn't done this before?"

"No!"

"Neither has Chikorita... Girls stop it-!" She yelled, but backed away.

I looked in confusion, before hearing (Y/n)'s growl. I saw her eyes glowing...

This had never happened before!

I rushed to grab her, holding her in my arms.

"Calm down, (Y/n)... You're okay... Shhh..."

She calmed, shaking her head. She blinked, and her eyes had stopped glowing entirely.

I stroked her, before smiling at Casey. "I am so sorry about that. I don't know what happened there."

"It's okay! Chikorita acted weird first. Hey, mind if I join you? I'm trying to find a few friends of mine."

"Sure thing. Just make sure Chikorita stays calm okay?"

Casey nodded, and we walked for a while. What had just happened?

(Y/n) barely liked battling. She didn't like hurting other Pokèmon. Lately though, she has been acting more protective.

I decided to not think on it too much, and we just continued onwards.

"She doesn't like her Pokèball either?" Casey asked.

I nodded, "Yep. That's just how she was brought up I suppose..."

"Weird. Shamus usually had her in her Pokèball. Then again, trauma will make it so a Pokèmon is unable to like it's Pokèball."

"I'm glad she's at least alive... why would you abandon your Pokèmon in such a cruel way?"

"Why abandon it at all?"

(Y/n) chirped a bit, and I looked at her. She looked worried and upset. I stopped walking, and set her down. But she ran off.

"(Y/n)! You could get hurt!" I called, running after her.

Your P.O.V:

You had run because you remembered this place. You raced to see an old friend again. The home of Fuyumi the Glaceon.

She was kind. Her name meant "Ice Beauty". She had always talked about your true potential. What that meant, you didn't know.

She had been abandoned by her trainer, and warned you many times to not go near the trainers around.

She hadn't seen you since you got captured. You went to her home.

"Fuyumi! It's me, (Y/n)!"

No response. Until...

"(Y/n)?!" A female voice called.

You turned, seeing Glaceon in human form. You shifted as well.

"Yes! It's me! Fuyumi, I finally have a good trainer!"

"Come in, come in, we have a lot to discuss!"

You both shifted back to Pokèmon form.

After a little bit of discussion, you decided to show her to Sans.

"(Y/n), are you sure about this?" She asked.

You nodded, "Sans is really nice! Trust me!"

You both raced to the two trainers. You instantly ran to Sans. He held you in a protective grip.

"(Y/n), don't you ever scare us like that again!" He exclaimed.

You nuzzled him, before jumping from his hold.

Fuyumi walked over, seeming to be untrusting. You gently nudged her back leg, and she looked at you with an angry expression. You smiled, gesturing towards Sans.

She walked closer to him, and looked up at him with a judgemental glance.

...

Oh boy...

How was this going to end?

Wait and find out.

Sorry if it seems I have abandoned this book. I really haven't! I just had a while where I was uninspired to do the next chapter, that and life has been rough lately.

But, for fun, let's just try and estimate in the comments when the next update will be for this book. Because, to tell you the truth, I don't know myself.

I am so sorry for the long A/N, and the long wait time between each new chapter.
