My eyes were closed and I was praying that this was all just a sick dream. I want to just be in my bed, at my house and away from any asylum of any sort. I slowly opened my eyes in fear, bright lights were met with my vision. I sighed because it wasn't a dream and I wasn't going home any time soon. I was placed in a familiar discomforting bed, covers on my torso and my leg, that was now in a cast, was elevated. I rubbed my eyes in anger. I now officially hated Maddie with everything I had. At first she was just annoying, but this was way to far. I hope Michael was okay because he did get his poor head slammed down against the floor. I slowly tried to sit up, but to avail. My back hurt like hell. I turned my head and shivered once I saw Michael's bright eyes on me.

"Finally, you're awake."

"How long have you've been staring at me, creep?" I faked disgust and attempted to be bitter towards. I didn't want him to find out that I was sort of obsessed with him, so I acted like I disliked him. He rolled his eyes at me and sat up without a problem.

"I was just wondering how you ended up with a broken ankle when Maddie attacked me."

"I tried to save your ass."

"Obviously failed at it." He chuckled darkly which made me blush, "You should've just kept your pretty little nose out of it." Before I could answer someone dashed into the room. It was Maddie and she was in tears.

"Mikey! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to h-hurt you! I l-love you!" She latched her arms around his torso. She sobbed into his shoulder and it sounded like she was very dreadful. The boy pushed her away from him with a blank face. A security guard came into the room and started to drag Maddie away from Michael. She kept screaming out his name, but the guard forced her out.

"Away to solitude she goes," Michael smirked. I stared at the whole scene very confused.

"Solitude?"

"A steel box for the extreme lunatics."

"Why did you do it?"

"What do you mean?" Michael looked at me with a fake puzzled look. I rolled my eyes at him.

"You obviously knew her triggers, so why did you get yourself hurt?" He turned his head away from and just ignored me. Which made me really annoyed, "Hello? Aren't you going to answer me?" He shook his head, with his eyes glued on the door.

Long silent hours passed and I was still waiting on my answer. I couldn't move or even feel because they gave me some strong ass medication so I was numb. Numb. A word that describes how I feel right now. I'm not pissed or confused anymore about anything; I decided to push away those emotions and accept where I am in life. I'm numb.

Soon, a doctor slowly entered our room with long light brown hair and small physique. The fact she was an asylum doctor and still had an effort to give us a fake smile was pretty impressive.

"Hello Clarity, I'm Dr. Shoemake, but you can call me Sam." She smiled brightly at me and I think I smiled back. I don't know. I can barely keep my eyes opened. Michael sat up quickly once she arrived. He gave her a look of hope and excitement which she didn't return the expression back. She looked at him with a now saddened smile, "I'm sorry Michael. We couldn't get a hold of them."

"Are you sure?? Please. There has to be some way to contact them," He babbled out desperately, "Please, this is the third time!"

"Exactly, if you know that they aren't coming then why do you keep getting hurt?"

"I just want to see my family, okay?! I don't want to believe they really abandoned me!" Michael was now in tears and had sprung up from his bed. It broke my heart to see him like this more than it did seeing him get ripped apart by a lunatic. He ran past Sam, trying to hide his muffled sobs. Sam stood there calmly and let him run past her. I opened my mouth to question her actions, but her hand rose up to stop my attempt.

"He needs time alone, so I will let him have it," She explained, "Now, Clarity, we tried to look for your family's contact information but it seems that your family didn't fill out the information form." She started rummaging through her clipboard while talking. My mind was on Michael as usual. How could his family just abandon him? At the time I didn't think about my family abandoning me and forgeting my existence because you know, I was numb.

"When can I leave the infirmary?" I asked, probably interrupting her annoyingly long doctor words.

"Once I say you can," she replied quite sassily. Why do I always get the sassy ones? She said something else, but I didn't care. After she finally left, I wanted to sleep which I did.

I had just finished another tour. I only do tours for this asylum then I send them to the slutty nurse tour guide. I liked my uniform at first, but then after a whole month of guys staring at my breasts, it got annoying. I was in the employees lounge where I go after tour hours because the freaks are out loose so I couldn't leave without an escort since I'm not a doctor or guard. I was also waiting for Calum, but I wouldn't tell anybody that. I knew he likes and he knows I like him, but the asshole won't ask me out and it made me getting impatient.

The door clicked opened and I immediately perked up, then perked down once I realized it was just Sam.

"Ew, go home," She told me with a grimace. I furrowed my eyebrows at her rude introduction.

"Excuse me, I am simply just waiting for an escort." Sam hated my guts and I didn't really understand why. She dated Calum for the longest time from what I heard and they even got engaged, but he broke off the engagement and apparently it was all my fault.

"Are you waiting for your security prince?" She asked my coldly.

"Yeah I am actually. Why? Do you still have a thing for him?"

"Fuck no, I'm just upset he downgraded to you." She chuckled darkly and smiled at her own words. I gave her a glare before simply turning my attention away from her, "But really, Calum's waiting outside for you." I finally smiled at something she said and got up.

"Finally. You say something that matters," I gave her an artificial smile which she returned one back. I got up and left out the door with a real smile because I get to see Calum. I raised an eyebrow because he was nowhere in sight, "Hey, Calum isn't out-" I turned around to be greeted with a slam door and lock click. I tried to opened the door again, but the bitch locked it. I pounded on it and demanded her to open it which failed. I turned back around to see four freaks staring at me which looked like hatred. They probably remember me displaying them to the world.

"Hi!" Someone shouted in my ear which made me let out a scared squeak. I was faced with a girl in a long blue gown, messy hair just like all the other girls here, and a overly huge grin, "I'm Aliya!"

"I'm K-Kiana..." She frowned when I introduced myself and I stepped back slightly just to be safe.

"Oh. You're the tour guide slut Will is always talking about."

"Who's W-Will?"

"My asylum daddy," She flashed her smile again, "And he really wants to meet you. Come on, follow me!" She grabbed my hand and started forcefully dragging my with her.

"Get off of me, you weirdo!" I tugged my hand away from her and the look she gave me will be burned in the back of my mind forever. She stepped very close to me so she could whisper in my ear.

"You probably shouldn't of done that."

Those words. I had no idea what they meant.

Until I felt two large hands on my neck.
