*Authour note* you don't actually meet the Marauders until next chapter.

also this is my first ever fanfiction, I just decided I wanted to try and put it out here to see if people like it.

This is it! Most Mondays suck but this one would be amazing. Finally, my stupid parents are finally letting me go to stupid Hogwarts. Just kidding Hogwarts seems incredible. My mom wanted to send me to Beauxbatons because it's more girly and stuff but honestly, I probably wouldn't fit in there. Besides we live in London so we're close to Kings Cross Station anyways. But the reason I'm most excited to be going to Hogwarts is that I've missed out on the chance before. My older brother and sister, Myles and Honey got to go but my parents decided they needed to drill their philosophies of hating muggle-borns into me a bit more before they sent a blood traitor off to Hogwarts to tarnish the Lestrange family name. And apparently, my siblings are just fine with hating people they deem less than themselves. I think Honey loves hating them, kind of like a psychopath. I grabbed my suitcase and shoved my stuff into a bag. I was told that I would be attending this morning and that we would be leaving later that day. So, I frantically tried to finish packing before they left without me. Which by the way they would totally do, granted I have used floo powder before, but still, I don't wanna be alone wandering alone in Diagon Alley. I totally disagree with a muggle saying I came across one day reading "it's better to be alone than in bad company" I hate being alone but seeing as it's my family I just wish the company was a bit nicer to me that's all. I rushed downstairs and watched as Myles practically whispered the words Diagon Alley. Honey was next and right before leaving she sneered at me. Honestly, the name Honey is stupid she's a downright bitch and just rude and judgy. I mentioned the ideas that muggle-borns could be decent human beings and she snitched on me to my mother who just locked me in my room only giving me enough food so I wouldn't starve to death. My mother impatiently pushed me towards the fireplace, "Hurry up we haven't got all day" I stumbled into the fireplace. Next thing I knew I was in Diagon Alley. Me and my siblings were fitted for our robes. I was surprised I didn't get Honey's hand-me-downs. Not that I'm complaining. I grabbed all my books, same as Honey and Myles. It was weird the whole trip Honey and I were bickering, but Myles was just quiet. Granted he normally is but today more so than normal. He almost always makes quiet snide comments to himself or pipes in with something sarcastic, but today nothing. Then it was finally time to get my wand. It was silly because I was going into the sixth year and still just getting my wand. I walked into Ollivander's and was greeted by none other than the wand master himself. I was in awe I had read about wands and wandmakers and I couldn't believe I was meeting him. I snapped out of my awe by a loud, not so subtle, cough from my father. I was unsure why he came, he wasn't usually the sentimental type why did he care about me getting my very first wand. After greeting me Ollivander grabbed a wand from its box and passed it to me. I gave it a swish and stuff flew off the shelves. This went on with two more wands till finally, I had found my wand. It was ebony wood with a unicorn hair as a core and was 13 1/2 inches with rigid flexibility. I loved it instantly, we left, and the only thing left to buy was my scales, cauldron, and that type of thing then finally a pet. I have been dying to get my own pet, but mother and father refused. Now after begging on the entire trip my father begrudgingly agreed. I had read a lot about owls in one book and I already knew what I wanted. I went up and bought a gorgeous barn owl. Finally, I had all my stuff and we headed to Kings Cross Station.

We ran at the wall much to my reluctance, and the goodbyes were just awkward. My mother didn't even acknowledge me but she hugged Honey goodbye, I thought spitefully. I sighed and found an empty cabin. I grabbed one of my muggle books. I loved buying them because they were always so interesting, but my mother would frown every time she caught me with them then she would use incendio on it right in front of me. I just got sneakier and sneakier to the point where she thought I just didn't read anymore. I had drifted off slightly when a noise abruptly woke me up. I jolted awake to see a little awkward boy standing at the entrance to my cabin. "Could I sit here?"
