"Sure"

He sat down and just sighed.

"You okay?"

"He looked up at me and meekly smiled, "yeah."

"You know you're not fooling me, right? I know that smile, that's the smile I give after I've been fighting with Honey," I see the boy's face change to an emotion I can't quite register. I scold myself for being so stupid and saying too much.

A moment passed then, "You're right I'm not okay." He seemed like he wanted to add more but I didn't want to pry, "It's okay you don't have to tell me I don't really know you that well" I tried my best to smile warmly. He looked like he was contemplating something, "It's my friends... They were teasing me, and I know it's all in good fun but it kind of hurt."

"I see, I'm sure they didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

"Yeah I'm sure you're right," He smiled but this time it was brighter.

We talked for a few more minutes until, "Thanks for cheering me up."

"Glad I could help."

"I don't think I've seen you around before what house are you in?"

"I don't know I was home-schooled but I'm pretty sure I'll be in Slytherin," I said sighing.

"You don't seem very happy about that?"

"Yeah, I'm honestly just hoping I get put in anything but."

"Well good luck with that" before I could ask if he wanted to be friends or even what his name was three boys almost ran past but stopped at our cabin. "Wormtail been looking all over for you why'd you run off?" The speaker was a boy who looked to be the same age as me. He had long dark hair and something seemed familiar about him. Wormtail certainly an interesting name. Though who am I to talk mine is Lestrange. I was interrupted from my thoughts by a cute boy with brown hair and scars on his face. "And who is she?" I realized they were looking at me. "I'm Crescent..."

"You got a last name?" the long-haired boy asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"What is it?"

"Why do you wanna know?"

I kept thinking about where I have seen this boy before. I'm sure I've seen him before then it hit me. "You're Sirius Black" I blurted.

"Yeah do I know you?"

"No, probably not."

"Then how do you know me?"

"Well whenever--" I bit my tongue, mentioning my family was always embarrassing everyone knew what stuck up pricks they were.

SIRIUS POV:

"Whenever what?" I snapped

"Sirius calm down."

"No MOONY I won't calm down I ask this girl questions and she doesn't even answer."

"Please just take a breath."

"Whatever Prongs I muttered under my breath. I took a breath and tried again, "I'm not like my family if you're muggle-born you can just say so, I don't care about that"

"I know you don't care about that."

"Well, what is it then?" My agitation was coming back. Fuck what is wrong with this girl? Can't she answer a question?

"It's that I know you'll judge me for a different reason."

She knew me for some reason, and I didn't know her. Wait now that I think about it, she does seem kind of familiar. "Wormtail, Moony, Padfoot I'm going to sit down back in our cabin," James said as he left.
