"Eddie h-holy s-shit."

"Oh my god you're here, you're really here."

They all hugged him tighter then ever, "oh god I missed you guys." Eddie cried.

Eddie POV:
It was like I never left, that's when you know who you're real friends are. I'm so lucky to have them, and they had so many questions for me. But for now all I wanted was to have fun. We obviously were gonna have a sleepover on my first day back, we were going to my apartment. We spent the whole day going places and just having fun.

Hours later

"This has been the best day of my life, I really missed you guys."

"Oh lil Ed's it was never the same without you." He rubbed his head, "ah Rich stop!!"

"Is anyone else glad Eddie didn't grow? I mean it wouldn't be the same right?"

"Wow Stan, I'm average height!!"

"I've never seen a fourteen year old as short as you, so you're stuck man."

Eddie rolled his eyes, "Alright guys I'll see you at my apartment soon."

Everyone then went their separate ways to grab their things before meeting at his place. Eddie decided to walk Richie to his house, he caught up with him.

"Hey Rich."

"Hey spaghetti."

"You don't ever stop with the nicknames do you?"

"Never have, never will Ed's."

"So what's it been like without me?" Eddie laughed.

"Oh you know I've been really happy, and I totally didn't miss y-

Eddie shoved him, causing him to laugh.

"Oh come on trashmouth you totally missed me. You should of seen your face, it was hilarious." He giggled.

He smiled, not even paying attention, only to his laugh. "Cmon Ed's I haven't seen you in forever what do you expect!? Of course I missed you."

"So, What's it like at home?"

Richie looked upset he had asked that question, "Fine."

"Cold," Eddie scoffed and looked up in the night sky. Before they knew it they were at Richie's, "Alrighty Ed's I'll see you in an hour. I don't want you walking by yourself though."

"Trust me it's all good, I have my skateboard."

Richie laughed, making Eddie smile. He simply told him goodbye and started walking away. Richie bit his lip deciding if it would be weird or not.

"Wait Eddie!"

Richie wrapped his arms around him, but not tight like before..just enough. Enough to make him feel safe.

"Thanks for coming back."

"I would of never left."

"Now get your ass inside, I need to get home."

Richie grinned as he watched Eddie skate away until he could no longer see him. He sighed and went inside, awaiting what could happen. The air smelt of alcohol and cigarettes, though he wasn't surprised. He heard his mom and dad arguing but tried to ignore it and make a run for it upstairs. Of course stopped by his father, "Hanging out with those asshole friends of yours?"
