At the end of the evening most of the personnel was still sitting at the table and having endless conversations while Malcolm listened on. Francine asked him if he would like some coffee because he didn't look well. He replied that he did and she walked off. Shortly after she came back and gave him a mug with coffee. 'Thank you', he said. Francine smiled. 'You're welcome but you need to stay fit to be always ready for anything.' She laid her hand on his hand and held it softly. He turned his head and laughed.

Out of nowhere,  the light went out and the alarm went off with giant flashing red lights. Everybody stood up and looked around. 'Attention this is a code red. Major containment breach on sub level 2. All personnel must evacuate and follow the given instructions to reach safety. Security has been dispatched to take control back and take out any possible hostiles.'

A bunch of heavily armed Elite guards ran in and one of them walked forwards and said: 'Okay everybody I'm sergeant Wolf. We have been ordered to bring you to safety. Follow us, stay close and don't try anything stupid.'

In barely a minute everybody was in the hallway following their escort. A bunch of other Elites ran by towards the staircase going to sublevel 2. One of them stop and talked to Wolf.

'Sir we need you on sublevel 2 for extra backup. He pointed towards his partner and told the corporal that he had to take the lead for the evacuation. 'I'm going with the handler team to take out the threat.'

Wolf left the team that evacuated the scientists and followed the others. They met with captain Fergus and Chief Williams near the stairs.

'What's the situation sir?', Wolf asked.

'Some of those damn aliens broken out of their cells and also those crabs that came out of those eggs. We are already missing at least eight people and we lost contact with the area.' The captain grabbed a monitor and showed the map of the level.

'We want you to lead the first squad to go in. Find and destroy the escaped aliens and rescue possible survivors. We'll be right behind you and split up at this point.' He pointed at a hallway near the labs that went two ways and both would go to some of the containment rooms. 'Also, you can't take the elevators because they triggered the fire alarm which puts the elevators on lockdown.' Wolf looked one more time and said he'll do so. Before he went off he was given a pulse rifle and some extra armor and grenades.

They formed a team of ten people and went down the stairs. Finally, he and his team reached the hallway of sublevel 2. So far there was nothing wrong and everything seemed empty.

'Now listen up everyone. Activate your motiontrackers and keep your eyes open.' They walked through the complex until they reached a door. It was locked. 'Private can you open this door?' One of the Elites walked forward. He grabbed a keycard and put it into the control panel. The door opened slowly. They entered the area and now they were at the laboratory complex. Most of the lights were still on but it was a complete mess. All kinds of boxes and other stuff where knocked over and laying on the ground. It looked like everyone had left in a hurry. But at that moment Wolf detected two dots on his tracker. His team formed up and aimed their rifles. However, there weren't any Xenomorphs. Two guys in blue uniforms came out of the corner. They raised their arms in the air and said, 'Help us please!'

Wolf waved his hand to his teammates and told them to lower their arms. He talked to one of the guys an asked who they were. 'I am Mitchell Jones and this is my co-worker Lewis Breiner. We were working at the storage block when the alarm went off and we heard screams and gunshots. 'Okay listen now,' Wolf said. 'Something has broken out of the containment and we were sent in to deal with it. There's a rescue team near the entrance of the hallway. You think you guys can make it?
