The group with the survivors were taken to the upper floor. West had told them he and the others wanted to talk with them but nobody knew about this. 'What are you going to do?' Mitchell asked along the way.
'The admiral just wants to talk about what you had to experience.' The guard said. It better be good. Mitchell thought. Later they were at the meeting room on the top floor of the ship.
They took a seat and later the C.S.A.C. council walked in and joined them. Markus sat in the middle with Admiral West and Williams besides, Markus looked at the group and spoke.
'Gentlemen, we have gathered you here to give you our biggest sincere about the horror you all went through, the belongings you lost and the people that were lost. We will all never forget the once that have fallen that day in a severe disaster that we never saw coming.'
'You're lying.' Francine thought and she almost wanted to interrupt but first wanted to hear more.
'We can guarantee you from here that you will never have to experience this again and that we will give you a good place to go after this. About the threat on the Colony, we will deploy a special patrol squad in a secure outpost to track down the thing we created and find out where it stays, after that we will put a massive assault group to attack and destroy him once and for all.'
Francine wanted to object now but instead Frost stood and yelled.
'Are you fucking nuts?! Send in your people as a bate, this is inhumane!' Esther and Victor agreed with him.
'Nobody here still gets it, do they? These aliens or whatever are not average pests and you know what that "little experiment'' of you did to the people and that it destroyed an entire facility,' Esther said.
'She's right, I saw all my friends taken by those things and it backed up for nothing,' Victor said.
'Why are we even here?' Asked one of the surviving Elites. Mitchell and the other Elite stood up and walked over to Markus but were stopped by the guards. 'ENOUGH!' Wolf said.
'Look We all know how it is and the last thing we can probably do is killing each other. There has already been enough blood spilled! The people were put back into their seats. Thank you, Captain Wolf,' West said.
'I truly accept that this plan is insane, but we don't have much else at the moment, our powers forces are scarce and we need to have that Colony back for our operations.' Markus said. Everyone stopped protesting and Markus continued on.
'But once we have that bastard gone we will assure that all remaining monster would be finished off, with or without our project. But there is something else I would to say,' Markus looked Francine.
'Francine Smith, it's about Mr. Malcolm.'
'What about him?' She asked. Her heart beaded rapidly as she listened.
'His situation is not so good, the burn wounds are healing fast but he still is in coma and has major problems with his blood flow and lungs. The medical personnel can't do any surgery right now because the wounds are still too severe, but they say that the machinery will keep him alive for a couple weeks probably.' Francine felt relieved but also feared as the last time they treated him went not so well.
'I want to see him.' She said.
'Sorry, but you can't do that now, they are currently trying to give him some support to keep his blood flow in order,' West said.
'Couldn't you tell me that earlier or something.'
'Sorry, miss but I can assure you he will be fine.' At that moment somebody walked in.
