Chapter 17: Preparations

A month has passed since Zenneth had failed to capture Shu. During this month everyone either relaxed, trained or had other plans. This High 6 recruited former High 6 members as some were still alive and had the ability to fight. Sekiro recruited only 5 and they were, Brock, Iza, Moe, Phy, Aya. These members even started training again because of the threat Sekiro explained to them. For the 5 to prove themselves after a full month of training they decided to challenge X to a battle. If they win, X would have to join them in battle, If X won they would have to never contact X again. They didn't last 2 minutes. Shinji and Shu proceeded to come down the mountains and they ran into Tito.

Tito: Yo Shinji, I heard you going to war.
Shinji: What happened.
Tito: Sekiro been preparing Former High 6 Members to fight you, also did you kidnap somebody?
Shinji: No, I see a good fraction of my potential in this boy.
Shu: Who TF is Sekiro?
Tito: A dude with Special powers that make him IMMORTAL.
Shinji: No, during that month of me training, Shu has the power to kill Sekiro.
Shu: Wait I do?
Tito: You adopted him?
Shinji: Basically. If I'm going to war, will X be their?
Tito: No, Me and Him decided to eat ice cream while you kill people.
Shinji: Well, My plan is to kill Sekiro now and see my plan go through. Tito do me a favor?
Tito: Sure what you need?
Shinji: I need those lowlifes I spared to fight for me in this war, go gather them.
Tito: Bet, I gotchu Chief.

Tito proceeded to gather Leeroy telling him that [Y/N] and Sierra was gonna be there. Leeroy agreed and proceeded to follow Tito as more candidates were joining. Tito made a deal with the twins, Gine and Tyrian, saying that if they join the war, they will get paid. Tito gave Ayze a visit and convinced him that the man that the knights of destruction wants him to prove himself by fighting for him. Tito went back to Shinji with the soldiers he recruited and Shinji gave them a talk about going all out. Shinji told them that they strike tomorrow when the afternoon comes. They all agreed and Shinji went to go see X and found him in the ice cream shop.

X: Yo, so I heard you making a army.
Shinji: Yep that's right, and your still eating ice cream.
X: What can I say, it's a hobby at this point, also I'm waiting for my child to get home.
Shinji: I can't make any promises that they'll be alive after the war tomorrow.
X: I won't hold a grudge just because they joined the High 6 against my will. I guess I should go see them one last time before tomorrow .
Shinji: You go do that and if they're gone than at least their soul will live in a better place.

X headed out and went to speak with Yakan and he found Yakan hanging out with [Y/N]. As X headed towards you, you have him respect and left him alone with Yakan, but decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.

X: Hey kiddo yo I ready for tomorrow?
Yakan: You wouldn't care anyway, all you care about is ice cream and you don't even care about m-

X embraced Yakan with a hug, Yakan hugged back as X gave Yakan an explanation.

X: I always cared about you, you are the last survivor of my bloodline and I need you to pass it on.

X took off Yakan's mask revealing Yakan to be a female.

X: I need you to live your life happily and make good choices. By the time I pass and I see your mother and brother again, I'll be happy with my choices.

Yakan started crying and hugged her dad even more deeply than before. She stopped after 2 minutes and X got up and walked away in the direction towards the graveyard. Yakan put back on her mask and proceeded to get you ready for the war. You still didn't know that Yakan was a female. You valued this time as this may be the last days of your life so you decided to go get the gang and hang out for the night. You even did a little battling with the townsfolk and got to Diamond Rank.
