Chapter 14: A Choice

The day was normal and Sekiro approaches X along with the new member of the High 6, Elise.

X: Leave, I don't need the High 6 trying to recruit me again.
Sekiro: Please X, we need you more than ever to defeat the mysterious man.
X: I said Leave, Don't make me repeat myself.
Sekiro: I'll make a bargain with you.
X: There is no way you can make a deal that I'll accept.
Sekiro: I'll bring back Tai and Nora.

X stood in his place in shock for 2 seconds, then gave him a smirk.

X: You son of a bitch did you perfect it?
Sekiro: Depends on how long they been gone. It could take hours to days, maybe even a month.

X's smile than went down to a disappointed look.

X: Nora would never even come back anyway, but Tai is a mystery for this and I'll keep him with Nora. I'll never submit myself to the High 6, my creed is sacred for myself. But Sekiro, If my daughter goes, bring her back. Also I have a favor to ask, If you can bring Melleo back then I'll give details about the stand user.
Elise: How about you actually help us, if you haven't noticed, people have died and we can't let it slide.

Sekiro: We already have Melleo but she's in a condition worse then a dying old man. Also the bounty hunter we sent is already tracking him down.

All the sudden a bolt of lightning came striking Sekiro. Elise proceeded to run back to X while carrying Sekiro.

X: What do you ne-

A bolt of lightning came lunging at X but he simply avoided it.

X: Ho Ho, Are you attacking me.
???: I can't kill you without getting closer.
X: Then come as close as yo like, It'll be your funeral.

X and the mysterious man walked towards each other then, the mysterious man jumped into the air releasing a lightning attack. But X would dodge it, and laugh at him for trying.

???: So I see your a teleportation user with quick reflexes, Am I right.
X: Hmm, your a smart one. But who are you exactly and explain why attack me.
???: Well if it concerns you that must, My name is Wilson and I am a Head Knight of Destruction. I came to assassinate the High 6. Now explain to me, why you ignore their plea for help.
X: I don't explain my past to those I'm not close with.

Wilson launches at X with killing intent, but X kept dodging. X was backed into a empty building in the bad part of the neighborhood.

Wilson: Such a place will be your grave.
X: If your the smartest then you would figure out my plan already.
Wilson: Your arrogance will be your downfall and I will become a Legend.

Wilson launches at X, But X backed himself to the wall with a pipe filled with water. X would jump dodging his strike, but Wilson figures what he was trying to do and missed the water pipe. X went to the roof that was filled with electrical cords. Wilson followed and laughed as he unleashed his power on to the electrical cords. X would fall into the building by breaking the floor underneath him. Wilson would follow and be facing X with a questioning look on his face.

Wilson: Why do you run away, when your considered powerful?
X: I plan to test your smartness, and you failed to outsmart me.
Wilson: I guess your seeing how I use my stand to test me, is that it?
X: No, you failed the exam which means, I have no more time to test a weakling like yourself. Look around you how many pipes are their.
Wilson: There are 3 pipes in here, but they are all different.
X: Then what substance is on the ground right now.

Wilson looked in shock to see a different liquid then water, then identified it as oil. But he was a second to late, as X had already lit a match and flung it while walking out of the building.

Wilson: No No No, I can't be outsmarted.
X: Your a amateur at best, you claim to be the smartest in knowledge but when it comes to using stands to win a fight, You Lose.

Wilson burned in the fire and proceeded to scream X's name until he died completely. X returned to Elise and Sekiro.

X: Alright, Sekiro you got yourself a deal but on my terms, I will not defend the town, but I will defend my students and my child. I will figure out the enemy stand abilities and their weaknesses, but it's gonna be your job to clean it up, got it old man. I only see Shinji less than 8 times a year, You'll either find him not here or with Nora.
Sekiro: Thank you X, we will solve this problem and give you anything you want.
