They spent the next days fucking and then fighting, sometimes fighting and then fucking, and Persia could not resist the urge to think this was more than messed up. But that was life. One day he would be making her breakfast in bed, the next, doors would be slamming and walls were being punched. To Persia, watching Alec argue back to her made her a little flustered, but she didn't dare tell Alec that. Persia wanted to forgive Alec, she really did, but he had become a little possessive recently. On one fine evening, Persia had spent two hours getting ready. she flattened out her dress and fixed her hair in the mirror. She was so nervous to show Ale all her hard work. Treading carefully in her 6 inch heels she walked down the stairs and into the living room, which was ironic as Alec was dead. "Is this a joke babe?" He said, setting down his cigarette into the ashtray. "What do you mean?" she laughed, doing a little twirl. "Well this must be a joke, there is no way you are going out like that." "Excuse me?" she said, cocking her head sideways. Alec picked up his xbox controller and chuckled. "You look like a prostitute, honey," He replied. "Yeah thanks a fucking lot Alec, not like I just spent two hours getting ready or anything?" She raised her voice. "Don't speak to me like that," He shouted, standing up and unbuckling his belt. "What are you doing?" She stammered, although her heart had skipped a beat in anticipation. "Turn around. Now." Before she had time, Alec grabbed Persia by the throat, turned her around and pushed her onto the arm of the sofa. "Alec what are you doing?" she giggled. "Its sir to you." He took his hand and glided it underneath Persia's dress, and pulled down her underwear. "I have to go out soon," She chuckled, still being held down by Alec. "Oh this wont take long." As soon as he said that he raised his hand and slapped Persia's ass with the belt. Persia winced. "Disrespect me again and itll be harder now, go and change my princess." Persia was lying there, both surprised and turned on. "I suddenly don't feel like going out."
But A few weeks later Persia started to notice Alec had become distant and reserved. It was one morning in mid October she decided to confront him. The air was crisp and fresh as she took a deep breath in. "What's on your mind?" She said as he opened the car door. "Nothing?" He answered, a little too quickly. Persia leaned over and shut the car door. "You have been off for a couple days and i'm worried about you." He rubbed his hands together, trying to warm them up, completely ignoring the question. "Listen, if you're going to be a wanker then don't worry," she hissed, opening the door, but as she was about to climb out, it slammed shut, almost catching her fingers. "They've-," he cleared his throat, "They've found me," he whispered, his face, blank. "Who? For fuck sake, stop the mysterious ghost shit, that got old a while ago!" she tried to joke, but his face made her smile disappear.
