It was about 10pm when Alec stumbled to the door of the flat. He was completely intoxicated, after managing to down a whole bottle of vodka. He struggled to put the key on the door when suddenly it opened. "Hey babe, I was worried about-" Persia started. She observed the state Alec was in and started laughing. "I didn't know ghosts could get drunk?" she laughed, taking his arm and putting it over her shoulder, to help him into the apartment. She plonked Alec down on the shower and kicked the trash can over to him. "Babe." He managed to say. "I- I need to talk to you." Maybe now wasn't the time to be under the influence, especially if he was a leaving for hell in two hours. "What is it?" she said, taking a seat next to him. "I have to go out of town." "Where are you going?" she asked. "Does this have something to do with the people who 'found' you? I have been meaning to talk to you about that listen I - ." She was interrupted by Alec projectile vomiting onto the carpet, completely missing the bin Persia had put there. "Oh great, now I have to try and get vomit out of the carpet, why did you decide to get so drunk today?" She asked, running a hand through his hair. He turned his head away from her. "Whats the matter?" "I have to, to go," He whispered. "Huh?" She said. "I have to go," he said again, gingerly. "And where may I ask are you going?" she asked. "Back to-" he vomited again before finishing his sentence, "back to hell, where I belong." "oh ha-ha, must be the drink talking. You hungry? I made-" but before she could finish her sentence he grabbed her by the hand and pulled her into a massive hug. Something about his hugs always made Persia feel safe. "Persia my darling, this is crazy, but come with me?" "You want me, to go with you, to HELL? are you completely out of your mind?" She said, and then started hysterically laughing. "Please, can we talk about this, I'm running out of time before I have to go and your ruining it." "I'm not ruining anything, you want to go, then go I'm not going to stop you." On her way out she slammed the door shut. Great, he thought to himself.
At some point he must have fallen asleep because when he awoke, Demetri was standing over him. "Was up sleepyhead, its time to go." "No wait, please, please let me just talk to her for five minutes," he pleaded. "We had a deal, Alec, now take my hand." Alec sighed and slowly reached out his hand and took his. A single tear rolled down his cheek. He would never see her again.
"Listen, I have had some time to think and I-" Persia's voice trailed off as she realised she was alone in the flat. no, no no no. "Alec?" she shouted. "Alec where are you?" she started running about the small apartment, but he was nowhere to be seen. He was gone.
