It had been a few days and Alec sine Alec first saw them. He had managed to stay out of their way, but he knew they would eventually approach him. He had decided to take a stroll through the forest, taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Stopping near a small waterfall, he took a seat on a nearby rock and watched the water cascade down. Fuck it, water is very scarce in hell, might as well enjoy it. He pulled off his shoes and socks and slowly dipped his feet into the ice cold water. He took a deep breath and sighed. The only thing close to water in hell was lava, which emitted vast amounts of heat, making the temperature blistering, always.
Just as his toes touched the water he was approached by a tall, slender figure. "fuck," Alec said under his breath as the figure came closer. He took a seat next to Alec and watched Alec pull out a packet of cigarettes, probably the last one, he thought to himself. "He took a long drag, and before the figure could introduce themselves Alec said: "Just give me some time, I need to say goodbye to her." He took another drag. The figure sighed and nodded his head slowly. Demetri was the keeper of keys in hell, and one of Alec's best friend. They had met in heaven, but both sinned and parted ways. It seems he was doing well for himself. His chocolate brown skin glowed in the sunlight. "What do you want with a human girl anyway, need a new pet?" he laughed. " I'm in love with her, stupid," Alec replied rolling his eyes. "wow! Alec loves someone? she must be incredible." "oh she is," he replied. "they say I have to take you now i'm afraid," Demetri said, putting a hand on Alec's shoulder. He shrugged it off. "Oh come on now, stop with the theatrics lets go," Demetri laughed. "Please, please just let me say good bye to her," He said turning to Demetri. Demetri grabbed the cigarette and took a long pull. "Oi you cheeky shit, if you are going to make me go to hell at least let me finish my last cigarette!" Alec chuckled. "fine, but by midnight your ass is leaving," Demetri clicked his fingers, and was gone.
