Just a Fling?

Chapter VIII

I am not  even exaggerating or anything but the moment Choi Yunmi kissed me back, I actually felt like I was on cloud of nine. If I'd say this was my first kiss, I'd be lying. I did kiss a girl back in middle school but this kiss is a whole lot different. I can't even explain it.

We were thirty seconds into kiss when my phone buzzed in my pocket. Firstly I decided to ignore it but it kept on buzzing and buzzing so Yunmi pulled back.

"Looks like something important, answer it"Yunmi said. I pouted in disappointment and answered the call; walking a little far away.

"Jungkookie it better be important else I'm killing you" I threatened Jungkook through the phone.

"Hyung I am going home" Jungkook said.

"And you're telling me that because?" I gritted my teeth irritated.

"Well I am the only sober one with license and you won't have a ride back home if you don't leave with me" He reasoned.

"Okay we'll be there in 2 minutes" I said and hung up.

"So who was it?" Yunmi asked as I walked back to her.

"Jungkook. He's going home and we're going with him" I told her and she nodded.

As we walked to living room; it was almost empty. Few people passed out on the floor and Jungkook was standing at the entrance with Namjoon.

"What about those?" I said and Pointed at Jimin and Taehyung who were passed out on the couch.

"Jin hyung said to leave them"Jungkook said and I nodded.

We all walked to Namjoon's Car. Namjoon sat on the passenger seat while I and Yunmi sat in the back seat.

"What about your bike?" Yunmi asked me.

"I'll pick it tomorrow" I told her and she nodded.

Jungkook started driving and we all were sitting silently. 

"Hyung Tell me truthfully; you guys bring me to these parties just to drive you back home right?" Jungkookie broke the silence.

"Isn't it obvious" Namjoon teased him. I and Yunmi joined Namjoon to tease Jungkook.

After 30 minutes of ride, Jungkook stopped the car infront of Yunmi's apartment building.

"Good night" She said and walked off the car. She waved at us and Jungkook drove off. I was kinda disappointed as she didn't mention anything about our kiss. Was it nothing for her???

Both of them decided to crash at my apartment like always.

"Hyung I noticed you and Noona were gone for quite sometime. Did you do something" Jungkook said wiggling his brows.

"Yes but you ruined it" I scowled at him.

"Gomeinasai" He said and walked into my bed; sleeping next to Namjoon who was already passed out.

I got into bed and texted Yunmi.

Asleep??

I waited for her reply and fell asleep staring at my phone.

Next morning I woke up at 11. First thing I did was to check reply from Yunmi but It never came. Wave off disappointed hit me. My whole Saturday felt depressing.

Namjoon made spaghetti before leaving so I had some and watched few movies the whole day. Even though the movies I watched were comedies, there was sadness dripping inside me. 

It was 11 when my movie for the day ended. I walked to kitchen; had a glass of milk and went to bed. 

I stared the message I sent her and decided to text her again.  A part of me was like " Hobi don't; you'll be disappointed again." but I ended up ignoring it.

I was anticipating her reply but it never came.

Sunday was worse than saturday. I was anxious, paranoid and depressed at the same time. 

In the afternoon guys came to my apartment to hangout but i wasn't feeling it.

"Hobi? you're good?? You've been Zoning out for quite sometime now" Jin  hyung asked me.

"It's nothing hyung" I tried to brush him off.

"Tell me already" Jin hyung rolled his eyes.

"I texted yunmi but she hasn't replied me" I gave in.

"Did something happen between two of you??" He asked patiently. I told him how we kissed and jungkook ruined it.

" I told you she wasn't a good news" Yoongi hyung snickered making me feel worse.

"Let's try to think positive. She may be busy; let's not make assumptions" Jin hyung said maturely as he sensed my bitter expression.

"Whatever is bothering you; talk to her tomorrow at school. Don't stress too much" He added and I nodded.

Next day at school, I was the first one to arrive in class. After 30 minutes the class started but there was no trace of Choi Yunmi.

30 more minutes into Math class; Yunmi came. Math teacher wasn't even surprised; he just glared at her and let her inside.

After long three hours; we finally had recess. Yunmi walked towards the cafeteria and I followed her. 

She got the food and sat at the empty table. I got my food and sat across her; looking straight into her eyes.

"Are you avoiding me?" I asked her; straight to the point."
"No" She said and ate a spoonful of rice.

"Then why didn't you text me back?" I asked her.

"I was busy"She said as if it wasn't a big deal.

"Busy doing what??" I asked her; ignoring her tone.

"Clubbing" She said unbothered. IS she kidding me?? I was anxious, depressed and paranoid last two days because she didn't text me back and here she is telling me she went clubbing. I feel so mad right now.

"Are you serious right now Choi Yunmi?" I said trying to control the anger building inside me.

"Serious about what?" She asked.

"We fucking kissed on Friday and the next day you went clubbing. Are you kidding me?" I started getting mad.

" Look We just kissed. It was for that moment; I already told you I don't do relationships." She brought that I don't do relationships thing again. I was more than frustrated.

"Not like it was your first kiss or something. Chill" She said and continued eating her food coolly

"It was my first kiss" I lied. I mean technically it was my first kiss since all I had was a peck in middle school so It doesn't count.

"Okayyy" She stared at me. I looked back at her with more intensity.

"So? What can I do? Not like I can return it back" She pressed her lips in thin line.

"I want you take the responsibility" 

I am really sorry that I make delays while updating but I have writer's block and sometimes school takes most of my time. I am really sorry that you have to wait.
