Choi Yunmi
All the blogs I read about dating suggested having First date at a Amusement park, picnic or candle light dinner by the ocean but turns out Jung Hoseok's definition of first date is arcade.
"Hey what are you thinking??" Hoseok snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Nothing really" I shrugged it.
"Okay" he said and dragged me into the bowling area.
"You know how to play right??" Hoseok asked me and I scoffed.
"I am the ace" I smiled mischievously at him.
"Is that a challenge?" His eyes actually sparkled.
"Only if you're not scared of losing" I teased him.
"Bring it on then" He said and walked towards the ball starting the game.
We've been playing for last 30 minutes and none of us is loosing. So we decided whoever scores high in this game wins. I threw the ball and it ended up wrecking eight pins where my boyfriend here ended wrecking all 10 pins at once.
He was celebrating his victory while I was sulking like a sore looser.
"It's okay Yunmi-ah, You can win in next game. Ace can loose sometimes" He said in a sing-song voice; 100% teasing me. "Whatever" I rolled my eyes and walked to Just dance game with him following behind me.
He stared at me for a second before we started playing the game; totally competing against each other. He ended up winning this one too. I couldn't help but groan in annoyance. Aish!! Why is this guy so good in every game.
" I am not playing" I said and left the arcade. Kinda childish but who cares.
As I left the arcade; hoseok came running after me. " Yah! Big baby. Stop sulking" He said as he hugged me from behind. I tried breaking free but his grip was too tight.
"Let me go" I said as I sulked by myself.
"Aigoo! So cute" He said and kissed my cheek without letting go of the hug. " Don't talk to me. Go away" I said and pushed him but he was way too stronger so he didn't budge.
"Stop sulking then I'll treat you ice-cream" He tried luring me with ice-cream.
"And cake too" I said giving me.
"Deal. Cake too" He said pinched my cheeks as he finally let me go.
"Let's go then" I linked my arms with his making him laugh a little. " You really love sweets, don't you" He asked and I grinned nodding.
We headed to cafe nearby and ordered cake, ice-cream and sandwich. We were having eating fun and talking about random things; laughing when my phone rang. I decided to ignore it and enjoy the moment but the caller was persistent. They kept on calling; annoying me to depth of hells.
My phone kept buzzing so I had no choice but answer. It was Jeon Jungkook. Aish! What does he want!!
"It better be important" I said as I answered the call.
"Noona where are you" He said on the other side.
"Out. Why??" I asked him.
"We had a tutoring session today" He said and I remembered.
"I'll come tomorrow " I told him as I didn't wanted to ruin our date.
"No noona. I have Math test tomorrow. You have to come and help me" He started whining.
I knew I had no choice since he has a test tomorrow, I told him I'll be there in an hour and hang up the phone.
"Jungkook has a test tomorrow so I have to go tutor him" I broke the news to hoseok. " Well I guess It can't be helped" He said but I could see the disappointment in his eyes.
After we were done with the food, Hoseok accompanied me to Jungkook's. While I taught Jungkook what to study and what not to; hoseok played with his phone.
"Were you guys on a date?" Jungkook asked me but I choose to ignore it. " Yah!! Noona don't be like this" He started pestering me like a kid.
"Yes" I sighed out loud after giving in.
"OOohh!! Where'd you go?" He started getting nosier.
"Arcade" I said and pointed at his notebook telling him to do his work.
"Arcade! really hyung? for the first date?? I am disappointed" Jungkook tsk-ed at hoseok.
"I wanted to have a unique date with Yunmi since she might had been on all those cliche dates" Hoseok pointed. I wanted to say that I've not really been on those cliche dates but I decided not to.
"Now don't utter a word and do the worksheet" I glared at Jungkook as he was about to say something. He pouted and started doing the worksheet.
It was nine when I left Jungkook's house. I and Hoseok were walking to my apartment without uttering a word. As we were walking both of our stomachs started growling at the same time; making us burst into laughter.
"Do you want to stop by convenience store and grab a bite?" Hoseok suggested.
"I have few packets of ramen in my cabinet if you don't mind" I said and he nodded. We both got inside my apartment and I told hoseok to make himself comfortable as I boiled two packets of ramen.
After 10 minutes, Ramen was fully done. I took the pot and brought it to living room where hoseok was watching drama.
"Let's eat" I told him as I handed him the cutlery.
"Just to let you know, I've not really been on any of those cliché dates" I said monotonously as I ate.
"You haven't! Why didn't you tell me earlier!" Hoseok exclaimed as his eyes widened.
"You didn't ask" I said nonchalantly.
"Aish! I feel so bad now. I wanted our first date to be special" he trailed off.
"Don't worry I really loved the arcade date" I said and kissed his cheek reassuring him.
"Tell me. You've had so many boyfriends in the past yet you've never been in to those dates. Why??" He said as I lean my head on his shoulder.
"So many boyfriends? Who told you that" I laughed at his assumption.
"I thought " he softly whispered but I managed to catch it.
"Well you're the only boyfriend I've had in last 18 years so rest assured" I said and pressed my lips on his.
Before I could pull back, he started moving his lips; giving me that same giddy feeling every time he kisses me.
