We breezed through four more scenes on two different locations. The day was a tiring thirteen hours on set but everyone was just so happy to be back at work. The cast and crew were respectful of my divorce by not asking me how I was dealing with it. It was such a relief to be with people that only wanted the best for me. Between scenes, everyone joked around and danced to music.

I adjusted the extremely tight dress around my body after too much dancing to Bruno Mars. Mykie had chased me down so I could finally sit in my chair.
"Do I really need more makeup?" I begged as I held up my covered tattoos. Mykie showed me the big powder brush she was using had no product on it. I looked at her confused.
"He won't stop looking at you. Every chance he gets." She whispered to me as she tapped the clean brush on my cheeks. I laughed at her ridiculous observation. "Dude, I'm serious." Her voice lowered more. I laughed again.
"Maybe he has to look at me because he has to, you know, direct me."
"There's a difference between looking at you..." She fluttered her eyelashes at me. "...and looking at you." She did an impression of Chris' serious director face. We both cackled at her perfect impression. She continued to pretend to apply makeup to my face. "Look for him. You'll see I'm right." I humored her by scanning the group of people behind her. My eyes connected with Chris'. We widened our smiles at each other in unison. Mykie stepped in the way of Chris so I raised my eyes to hers. "I was right?"
"You're right."
"Told ya." She said proudly. I sighed deeply.

I laughed with everyone while Tommy told us stories and showed pictures of his second baby boy with his wife, Charlotte, born a few months ago. My heart just about fell out of my chest with how adorable Chris was with the pictures of the baby. A member of the film crew whispered something to Chris before walking away. Chris handed Tommy's phone back to him.

"Hey guys, we are going to be done for the day. There's an issue with camera 12 that needs to be repaired." Everyone booed and hissed at the bad news. "I know, I know. I'm bummed too but go home, get some rest and I'll see everyone in a few days." Chris and I pouted our lips at each other then laughed. Tommy and I continued to talk about his baby. In my peripheral vision, I watched Chris shake hands and say bye to every person on set. I was about to hop off my chair to follow Tom and Tommy off the set until Mykie stopped me. She played with my hair.
"I'll see you in a few days, guys!" I said to the Tom's, waving at them. They both waved back before saying their goodbyes to everyone. I brought my attention back to Mykie. She was hopping in place. This usually meant she had a devious idea for our new opened evening.

"Invite him over tomorrow." She whispered to me as she held onto my arms.
"No!" I shrieked at her. She shushed me violently. We both looked around us for anyone within earshot. Chris glanced over but continued his conversation with Tom.
"I'm flying to Philly for a few days. Invite him over because you...uh..." I rolled my eyes at her. "...oh! You need help with that scene you were telling me about!" Her voice became raspier since she had to whisper her excitement with making up the excuse. My eyes shifted behind her to Chris approaching us then back to her. I covered my mouth with a lock of my hair to fake an interest in playing with it.
"He's walking over here." I whispered to her. "You need to shut the fuck up. Shut your—"
"I wish I could help you with reading that scene tomorrow but I'm flying to Philadelphia! Darn!" Her words were exaggerated and loud. I smiled at Chris with my cheeks blushing under the 10 pounds of makeup. Mykie turned around, almost like she didn't know Chris was there and threw her hands in the air. "Oh, wow! Didn't see you there, boss! Well, I gotta go pack. See you at home." She playfully socked me in the shoulder and briskly walked away. I let out a nervous giggle, mouthing 'ow' and rubbing my shoulder.

"I heard from a little birdie that you need some help with a scene?" Chris said, chuckling.
"Yeah but I don't think it was a little bird. It sounded like Scuttle from Little Mermaid." We both laughed loudly at the identical resemblance. "Um.." I glanced at my tired feet in the obnoxious heels swinging. I gathered the courage. "...if you're not doing anything tomorrow, I really could use your guidance with the courtroom scene." His face lit up from under his hat.
"Yeah, yeah. Definitely. I've got this camera issue to deal with so I could be at your place at five?"
"That's perfect. That would be perfect." I bashfully grimaced at the continuous word.
"Perfect." He smiled wider at me. I scrunched my nose at his mocking. He mimicked Mykie's shoulder punch but gentler. I exaggerated the painful reaction. He held out his hand to help me hop off the chair. I pulled the dress down to cover as much of my bare thighs. We smiled at each other again before I started saying bye to everyone.
