When Kellen made it back home, Les was engrossed in vacuuming the television room.

Having his ear buds in his ear blasting Jimi, dancing, and singing at the top of his lungs, he didn't hear his mate walk through the door.

Kellen watched his mate wiggled his ass sensually, while taking the vacuum's handle using it for a microphone. He thought Les was absolutely adorable.

Well, I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I stand up next to a mountain
Chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island
Might even raise just a little sand

'Cause I'm a voodoo child
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child

I didn't mean to take you up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to you one of these days
I said, I didn't mean to take you up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to you one of these days
And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then I'll, I'll meet you in the next one
And don't be late, don't be late

'Cause I'm a voodoo child
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child
I'm a voodoo child

"Les, I'm back." the Omega didn't hear him. He still continued to dance around using the vacuum as a mic.

Les, I'm home," the alpha yelled startling the omega.

"Jeeze, Kel, you scared the crap out of me. Are you trying to give me a heart attack ." He said while removing his ear buds.

"Oh, sorry. I guess you didn't hear me because of the vacuum.....and Jimi of course." The Alpha smirked.

He couldn't help but smile at his Luna. Over the years, he noticed his mate got more adorable.

Les blushed, and turned off the vacuum. That smile got to him every time.

"How was patrol. Did the fellas enjoy the food?"

"They always enjoy your food. Patrol went well. Joey discovered Stacy's pheromones, but I think I played it off well enough."  The Alpha shrugged.

At the mention of the she-wolf, Leslie became on edge. There was something about her that Les didn't like. It wasn't only that she slept with his mate, there was something sinister about her. For the life of him, Les didn't understand why Kellen chose her to get his kicks. Even though he had one night stands, he'd usually choose wiser. On top of that, he chose a she-wolf from a neighboring pack. What would happen if word got out about the true nature of their relationship. The omega felt Kellen was getting careless with his endeavors.

Maybe he was tired of pretending, the Leslie thought to himself. Maybe he and Stacy connected. All kinds of thoughts entered the omega's mind.

Kellen could tell the omega was becoming edgy at the mention of Stacy. He saw that as his opening to start the discussion about the almost attack. He just hoped the conversation didn't turn into an argument. Kellen was nervous.

The omega wrapped the cord around the handle of the vacuum and took it to the cleaning storage.

When he returned, Kellen was slowly pacing the back and forth, deep in thought.

"Kellen"

When the omega spoke, the Alpha stopped pacing and stared at his chosen. This made the Luna anxious, but he was prepared to defend his actions. He started nibbling at his nails and waited for the Alpha to speak.

"The place looks good." He said while looking around the room.

"Is that really what you want to talk about, Kellen? My cleaning skills? C'mon, out with it. What do you want to discuss? Cause if it's about Stacy, Leo isn't going to apologize and neither will I."

"I'm not asking for an apology, Leslie. I just want to know what happened. I've had women over before, and you were always okay with it." Kellen was determined to get to bottom of what happened. You were always o...."

Before Kellen could finish his thought, Les blurted out his feelings. "I've never been okay with it, Kellen!" Tears started to form in the omega's eyes. He hated being emotional, and lately his emotions had been all over the place. He didn't understand it himself.

The hurt shown in his chosen's eyes shook the alpha to his core. How could he had been so blind?

"Why didn't you say anything, Les? We could have came up with another arrangement."

"At first I thought I could handle it. But immediately I realized I couldn't. It's why I drink. Hadn't you noticed, Kellen! The only time I got drunk is when you were with someone else."

Kellen approached his distressed Luna and wrapped his arms around the smaller man. He whispered. "I'm so sorry. I never knew. I should have known. I'm your mate."

He squeezed the Luna tighter and a damn broke. Leslie was finally able to let go. He cried hard in his Alpha's arms. He'd been pretended for two years that he was okay with an open relationship.

Now that the truth was out, maybe things could finally get better between them. Maybe Kellen would finally give their relationship a real try. Sure Kellen wasn't gay, but that didn't  mean he couldn't fall in love with the man. Labels never meant anything with werewolves anyways. Sometimes two people just fall in love, didn't matter if they were the of same sex. It's their soul that connected.

Kellen let go of the crying omega, took his thumb to wipe the tears from his eyes.

"Shhh, it's okay now. When you're sad, it makes me sad. Please stop crying. I'm going to fix this. Things will get better, I promise I'll make this better for you. I've been so selfish."

Honestly, Kellen didn't know what to do. The situation was messed up. Maybe he should let Leslie go, and allowed him to meet someone who could give him everything he couldn't. To love him like he deserved. The Alpha considered. But how could he let his chosen go? The pack would no doubt suffer, but he cared about Leslie's well being. Whatever he decided, Kellen had to do it with the next couple of days. It was a full moon and also Leslie 21st birthday.

The Alpha was at a loss.
