Kellen was glad when Bryan left. The looks he gave Les made the man feel territorial. He didn't know how his plan would work if he had that reaction to Bryan, how would he handle if Les started seeing other people. However, he knew it wasn't fair to the omega if he was the only one exploring the openness of their relationship.

He could admit that he had an attraction to the Luna, but it scared him. He wasn't ready to face it just yet. He needed to be sure before he gave his omega false hope. Until then, he hoped Les would start seeing other men. Sure the plan wasn't perfect, but he felt that Les should see other men until he figured himself out.

It was time to share his thoughts with the Luna, but before he could speak, Les had questions for his alpha.

"You never told Bryan about me? I mean, as in that your mate was male? Are you ashamed of me, Kellen?"  The omega whispered.

Kellen could sense hurt from his Luna. No he wasn't ashamed of his mate. He was proud to call the man his partner.

Taking Leslie's hand, "Look at me, Les." The omega looked up from the table into his chosen's eyes.

"I could never be ashamed of you, sweetheart. You're the perfect mate. I'd be lost without you. The fact that you're a male, doesn't bother me. It just never came up." Kellen spoke honestly.

"As you can see, I'm not a fan of that jerk. We may be allies, but we're not friends. Didn't feel the need to share aspects of my personal life with that asshole."

This made Leslie feel somewhat better, but there was another matter he wanted to discuss. Stacy.

"Did you know Stacy was beta of Ravens Claw? You know that's too close for comfort, Kellen. What if she says something."

Kellen couldn't lie to his Luna. He knew that Stacy was the beta of Bryan's pack. They had met during a meeting with Bryan. He admitted the truth.

"I knew that she was Bryan's beta. I guess I trusted that she wouldn't say anything. She said she understood that I would never leave you if we hooked up."

"But Kellen, you know that we agreed that you wouldn't see anyone with ties to the pack. It's reckless."

"I trust her Leslie. She wouldn't say anything. The fact that Bryan didn't know that we were mates proves that she's trustworthy."

"I hope you're right, Kellen. These things can get messy. I'm not about to be looking like an idiot to our pack. Plus, they'd lose respect for you." He was always thinking about his Alpha.

Kellen hoped that he was right as well. This would cause unrest with the pack if they knew.

"Now what did you want to talk to me about."

"Before you say anything, please listen to everything I have to say, promise me, Les."

The omega exhaled. "Okay, promise I'll hear you out. What is it?" Leslie could tell whatever Kellen had to say was weighing on him.

"Look, I admit what happened between us has me confused as fuck."

"I figured as much, Kellen. You know if anybody understands, it's me." He said while taking the man's hand

"I can't stop thinking about what happened on your birthday in my office. The way you straddled me as I squeeze your ass.... It was so soft... that kiss... Damn.. you really know how to use those lips." As Kellen thought back to that day, his cock stiffened.

The omega smirked. "Oh you have no idea what my lips can do. That was only a taste." The omega couldn't help but flirt with his alpha. Hearing those words spoken from his alpha made the man beam with pride.

"Shit, Leslie. I'm trying to be serious here. What I'm trying to say is I liked it. I liked it a lot."

It felt good to finally admit it aloud to his omega.

"If you liked it, and I sure as hell liked it, why did you stop? I wanted you so bad, Kellen. It wasn't just the heat."

"I know you did Les, but it wasn't fair to you. I knew if we were to be intimate, there was no going back. I couldn't do that to you knowing I was still attracted to women."

"There is a such thing as being bi, Kellen. You can be attracted to both sexes."

"That's just it, Les. I have never been attracted to men until you. I'm straight and I'm not sure if I would prefer being with you over a woman."

Kellen was being honest and he could tell that it hurt Les hearing this. However, it was better to be truthful than give his mate false hope.

"Until I figure all this out I have a solution that may work for both of us."

"What do you suppose we do. I want to be with you in every way, Kellen, but I won't force it."

Disappointment was in Leslie's voice even though he tried to mask it. He held back tears. He knew crying would make Kellen feel worse than he already did.

"If it happens, it happens. Until then, I'm fine with our current arrangement, coming together with Thad on full moons. I just don't want you seeing Stacy again."

This isn't what the alpha wanted. He didn't want to limit his omega to just full moons. But Leslie would never admit that he had needs that didn't just apply to once a month matings.

"Les, listen to me. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm trying to say is agreeing to an open relationship didn't just apply to me."

Leslie was gobsmacked at the suggestion. What was his alpha thinking. Of course the first thought was Kellen trying to ease his conscious for wanting to sleep with women, but he honestly felt the man was sincere.

"You're telling me that you would be okay with me sleeping with other men. I don't think you really know me, Kellen. Don't you think that I haven't had offers, Kellen? I have.  Its just that I know what you sleeping with others does to me. I couldn't put you through that."

At those words, the Alpha felt guilty especially after sleeping with Stacy the prior week.

"I'm not trying to make you feel guilty, Kellen." The omega was truthful. "It's just the pack needs your strength more than mine. It would weaken you for a few days. Could we really take that risk. Especially with rogues circling."

Les made sense. But still he wanted the omega to try out his plan.

"We could talk to Karyn about our problem. She dabbles in spells.. she may have one that could help. Just think about it, sweetheart."

The omega languished. "Okay, I'll think about it, no promises though. If it helps you with your issues, I'll think about it."

**Present**

The omega did think about it. He still thought his alpha's plan was silly, but maybe he could use it to his advantage.
