Chapter Fourteen

It was the weekend; Les was finally ready to have some fun. The line was long at Jake's, the new bar on 23rd. It would take forever to get inside but by the way the music was pumping and the noises filing out of the place, it was worth the wait.

He and Karyn had been waiting in line for 30 minutes already and the caster was getting antsy.

"What's taking them so long. Sheesh," the frustrated woman bellowed. Les was on the other hand was a bit more patient. From the outside, he could hear the guitar from the live band. This was why he came in the first place, to listen to the music.

The Luna was so wrapped up in listening to the music, he almost didn't hear the man that was talking to him.

"Well, well, well, look who let his mate out of hiding?"

It was Alpha Bryan from Raven's. The Luna caught off guard by the man, stared at him. The last thing he needed was to be bothered by this jackass.

"Oh it's you." The Luna replied in an uninterested tone.

The Alpha smirked. He loved a challenge. He could tell cracking the Luna would be a challenge. He was more than ready to take it on.

"I see you and your friend waiting to get in. I can help with that."

This made Karyn perk up. "Really?" The caster said eagerly.

Les didn't say anything. He just listened to his friend ramble on about getting into the bar.

"We been waiting here for over 30 minutes. If you can get us in, I'd be internally grateful." Karyn smiled batting her eyes.

Les nudged her arms to let her know to cut it out. "We can wait Karyn. Look, the line is getting shorter. We don't need his help."

Karyn was frustrated. She just wanted to get inside and dance the night away. Dancing was her passion.

"I know the owner, he's my Gamma. You two can just follow me inside. C'mon, no sense in waiting. You'll be my guest. How could I leave the Luna of Wolf's Creek standing out here all alone
with no protection." Bryan flashed his million dollar mischievous smile at the omega.

"You're full of it, Bryan, but okay. I'm ready to go inside anyway. Let's go Karyn before I change my mind."

The omega accepted his invitation begrudgingly.

"Cool, you can join me in the VIP. Maybe by the time the nights over, I will have convinced you to dance with me. You look terrific by the way." The Alpha couldn't help flirting with the omega.

Les had chosen to wear his black distressed skinny jeans, with a white tight fitting Calvin Klein t-shirt. He paired the outfit with white Vans.

"Hmm, thanks?" The omega rolled his eyes, cuffed his arm with Karyn and followed the alpha.

Karyn moved in closer and whispered. "He's cute, Is he taken? I'd definitely give him a night of fun."

The alpha turned after picking up on the conversation.... "And If I wasn't gay, I'd have you screaming my name all night." Bryan said smirkingly, pointed to his ears, "alpha hearing".

Karyn found herself turning beat red. Les burst out laughing. Maybe this will be fun after all. The omega thought to himself. He had never seen Kay blushed like that.

Bryan couldn't take his eyes off the beauty that joined him in his VIP. Normally, he'd would have hooked up with someone in the back but since meeting the Luna, he couldn't think of anyone else. When he spotted the man waiting in line, he felt that the fates were smiling down on him. He still didn't understand Seria giving him to Kellen. He knew the man was straight. On top of the information Stacy let slip, he was thinking all may not be all it seemed with the couple.
