Paulina's POV

"So you guys a really siblings," Oscar said and I nodded, Demitrio took my hand in his.

"We lost Paulina when she was just a baby. We spent our whole lives looking for her and her mother but it was like they both disappeared off the face of the earth," Demitrio said and Oscar looked at him nodding. He released a breath of relief and stood up, Demitrio also stood up with him. Oscar embraces Demitrio in a hug.

"Welcome to the family Mano," He said and I smiled I embraced Oscar in a hug giving him a kiss on the lips. He wrapped his arms around me bringing me closer to him, his cologne invading my nose. A scent that I had grown to love and always made my knees go weak.

"I have a surprise for you," He whispered softly kissing my neck, I giggled from his facial hair tickling my neck.

"What is it?" I whispered back, a cough was heard behind us Demitrio still standing in the same place.

"Unfortunately I cant stay. I have some business to attend to.. adios mi amor," Demitrio said embracing me in a hug.

"I'll be back later and we can catch up," He said and I nodded embracing him in a bear hug. He hugged Oscar and made his was out of the door.

"Back to your surprise come on," He said taking me to the backyard. I furrowed my eyebrows wondering what he was up to. The whole backyard was set up in roses. A path with rose petals lead up to a double doors made out of flowers. Music began to play through the speakers and I looked at Oscar completely lost.

"Oscar what's going on?" I asked chuckling he kissed my forehead grabbing a microphone.

"Mi amor this gift I'm about to give you.. You've longed for your entire life. You've searched long and hard for this well I should say her," He said tears streamed down my eyes because if I was correct he was talking about her. The doubled doors opened and she walked out as the smoke rolled out along with her.

"Hija," She said holding out her arms

"Mama," I said running straight into her arms, I wrapped my arms around her so tight if I'd let go I'd fear she would disappear. I couldn't contain my sobs, She also sobbed embracing me just as tight.

"Shh Mija I'm here.. ay mi morena," She said soothing my hair as I felt her kiss my temple. I could finally see her face, touch her face. I resembled her a lot, our curly dark hair, our chocolate brown eyes, Our noses. She gently wiped the tears from my face as she smiled. She had such a beautiful smile.

"Mommy?" I heard behind me Oscar walked up with Laurito and Carlitos. I smiled taking Carlitos beside me.

"Mi amor I want you to meet someone," I said smiling, I looked at my mother and she smiled covering her mouth as tears left her eyes. I nodded my head to answer her question.

"Carlitos this...This is your abuelita.. she's my mommy," I said and I watched as he walked up to her and dried one of her tears.

"Why you cry?" He asked and she smiled caressing his cheek.

"Because I'm so happy," She said
