Chapter 13 : Finding Answers

"Thank you for helping us" I say to Aaron. He smiles at me "Of course" he says. We all sit there waiting as he downloads a pdf of Lilian Mason on their earth. "I got an hit" he finally says. "She was last seen two days ago, near Goladuct Ave" he adds. We all get up and head there.

~Time Skip~

As we arrive, there are two apartment buildings. "we split up" Aaron says, me and Miles puts on our masks. "Spider-Noir and Y/N, me and Miles" as he says this he smiles at Miles. I nod my head and we split up, "what do we do when we see her ? I mean if we do" I ask Noir. "We see if she runs" he says. As we walk through the apartment we see a women walking with a cloak over her head. I look at Noir and we start to follow her. She leads us outside in a back alley behind the two apartment buildings. "hey !" I say making her stop, she slowly turns around. Miles and Aaron runs up on the other end of the alley. We walk closer to her I can tell she gets nervous "he sent you ?! How did he find me ?" she yells. I stop confused, she removes her hood. My heart drops and Miles looks at me, Im sure with wide eyes. "Tell him I'm dead" she says, she pulls out a gun and places it to her head about to pull the trigger, I shoot my web and snatch the gun "We dont work for the Tinkerer" I say, she looks at me with wide eyes.

I pull off my mask "It's me mom" I say with tears flowing down my face. She drops her mouth and runs to hug me "Y/N ! How are you here ?" she says hugging me. "I'm finding answers" I say as we let go. I wipe my tears and she does. "We should go back to my hideout" Spider-Noir says.

~Time Skip~

I sit next to my mom in the hideout. "You dad, he sent me here. Framed my death and is working with Infinity...who is me but from this earth. I escaped his workers here, I've been on the run since" she tells us. "he's after me" I tell her. She looks at me and shakes her head "there is no stopping him" she says fearful. "not with just the three of you" she adds. I smile at Miles and Noir then look back to her "it isn't just us three, we have other Spiders" I say. "Plus they have me" Aaron says. She smiles "then we get him" she says. "He'll be expecting us" Miles says. "he will, which is why we wait until he gets distracted by something else" Noir says.

"He's on our earth, we need to go back to monitor him" I say. Miles looks at Aaron "are you willing to do that ?" he asks him. Aaron nods his head "I'll take a vacation leave" he says. He gets up as Miles goes to escorts him, they leave.

~Time Skip~

They finally get back "ready ?" I ask. "yea" they answer. I press the button and we all walk through. Ganke and Dakota jump up "Your back !" she says happily then hugs me, Ganke does the same to Miles. "Dakota, this is my mom" I tell her. She smiles "Hi, nice to meet you" she says they shake hands. "We need to get the others" Spider-Noir says. I nod "yea" I say. He opens a portal "you coming ?" he says smiling. I jump through with him, we come to Gwen's earth as she is fighting some gang members. She finishes and walks up to us "wassup ?" she asks. "The Tinkerer" I say, her face looks surprised "we need to get the others" she says. Spider-Noir opens another portal we walk through to see Peter with Mj "oh excuse us" Noir says. "Kid !?" he says hugging me "Where is Miles ?" he asks. "He's back home, we need your help" I inform him. "The Tinkerer is back, and he's after her" Gwen says. He looks to Mj "go ahead, just be careful" she says, then kisses him. We jump through the portal back to our earth "Peter !" Miles yells then hugs him. "hey Miles" he responds.

"where is Peni and Peter Porker ?" Miles asks. "I sent them an invite" Gwen says. A portal opens and Peni and Porker walk through "Um guys, its a little cramp in here, lets go to the roof" Porker says. Me, Miles, Noir, Peni, Peter, Porker, Gwen, and Aaron head to the roof. "we need to discuss what we are going to do" Peni says. "we need to get ready for this fight, The Tinkerer isn't just working with Infinity, Im sure he's working with others, hopefully not to much we can't handle" Peter says. "We do have one more person" I say. Noir looks at me "no" he says.

"She can help us" I say to him. "she worked with him, she'll betray us" He responds. "wait are we missing something ?" Gwen asks. "She want's to work with Doc Ock" Noir tells her. "Woahhhhh, that took a turn" Peter says shocked. "she'll help us" I hear Dakota say walking up. "how do you know that missy ?" Porker asks. "because she's my mom" Dakota informs them. They all look at her shocked, "who even is this ?" Peter says pointing at her, "she's my sister, half sister" I say. They all nod their heads except for Miles. "how can we know that she's trustworthy ?" Gwen asks. "We dont, we just have to trust her for once" I say.

"Dakota we'll be back, we are going to get Doc Ock" I say. She walks off the roof back into Visions Academy with Aaron. We all swing to the prison. "Brought friends ?" the guard says. "heh, yea we need to see Doc Ock again" I say. He walks us to her cell, "hey Liv" I say taking off my mask. "ohh the rest of the spiders" she says sarcastically. Then her face expression changes from neutral to confused "your doing it" she says standing up. "Your going to take on Phineas" she says walking to closer to the cell bars. "yea we are" I say. "we came here to get your help" I add. She smiles and looks at all of us "as much as I dislike you spiders for putting me in here, it doesn't match up to the amount for Phineas" she says.

"Your daughter said we can trust you, I hope she's right" Peter says. She looks at him "Dakota's  back ?" she asks. I nod my head "she's back" I tell her.

"Count me in" she says smiling.
