Chapter 6: "Time To Meet The Family"

I decided not to ruin the night by telling Miles about the note, so I hid the note in my pocket and left to go to Miles' dorm.

I knocked on the door twice and Miles opened up. He was wearing black jeans, a white sweater and some black boots.

I smiled "Did you try to match me?"

"whaattt? Nooo" he said rubbing the back of his neck

"Lets go" he said closing the door behind him and grabbing my hand.

We walked down the street to his house. I took a deep breath as he walked to ring the doorbell.

"Its going to be fine Y/N, they'll love you" he said holding my hand

Then the door opened.

"Miles, mi amour" a lady with long hair said standing in the doorway reaching for a hug

Miles went to hug her then she looked at me. "You must be Y/N"

"The girl he talks so much about when he calls me, Im Rio, Miles' mom" she said reaching out to hug me, I walked up and hugged her

"Hi" I said coming out of the hug.

A tall man came to the door. "Honey, who's at the door" he said before looking

"Miles, my man" he said happily

"And you... you have to be Y/N, Im Jefferson" he said hugging me

"Yes she is, shes such a beautiful young lady" Rio added grinning at me

"Please come on in" they moved out of the doorway

Miles grabbed my hand and guided me to the living room, where a lot of his family was sitting.

"Miles !" most of the scream in joy

I guess Miles is a family man. I stood there awkwardly as my anxiety kicked in.

"Time to meet the family" I thought to myself breathing deeply trying to calm down. Miles grabbed my hand as he could tell I was nervous, I looked at him and smiled. He held up my hand to show his family while he smiled at them. They all gasp in shock and enjoyment.

A tall dark skin guy approached me and Miles smiling.

"I see you finally bought a girl home Miles" he said placing his hand on Miles' shoulder and laughing

"Im Ric, Miles' cousin" he said shaking my hand.

"Im Y/N" I said smiling

"So its like a tradition for all of us to come over the day before a holiday and spend a night and play games and watch movies, this year we chose my house" Miles explained looking at me. I nodded my head and smiled.

~Time Skip~

After chatting with his family and getting to know them, me and Miles decided to go change for the movie, game, and snack night they are about to have. Miles led me to his room and opened his closet. Since I didnt bring any clothes he knows to give me some.

"Pick something" He said smiling at me

I grabbed his black sweat pants and a white tank top. I sat the clothes on his bed.

"turn around Miles" I told him grinning

"ok" he said as he turned around

I took off my shoes and put them at the end of his bed. I then got undress and folded my clothes up and sat them on his bed. I changed into the clothes he gave me.

"Done" I said as he went to his closet and got some clothes. He put the clothes on the bed and smiled at me. He took off his shirt and I made a surprised face, then smiled and turn around.
