[Lili's PoV]
Three hard days are in ahead of us, the whole riverdale cast. We've just landed in san diego for the yearly San Diego Comic con. Don't get me wrong, I love the convention. Having interviews, giving the fans some small insights into our next season and so on. It's always such a funny time.
But it also has it's dark sides.
Especially for Cole. He always has problems with his anxiety during Comic con. He's getting nervous very fast while having any interviews. That makes me worried.
„are u ready, love?" I said to Cole, looking him deeply in the eyes. He nodded shyly.
„It'll be fine. I'll be there okay?" i quickly kissed him on the lips, trying to make him as comfortable as possible.
It always starts with one interview after the other. Before the interview started at all, I've already noticed Cole getting nervous.
„Hey. It's alright." I said turning around to face him, slowly stroking over his knee. „I'm here with you."
The interview started and we were answering heaps of questions. After we've left the room I quickly pressed my lips onto Coles.
„Are u okay?" I said after. He just nodded, although I felt him being uncomfortable.
During the next interview I noticed him getting more nervous again. He was sitting right next to me and started to wiggle with his right leg, which was a pretty clear sign of his nervousness.
I quickly grabbed my hair clip out of my hair and gave it to him. He took it and smiled at me. Now he has something to play with, distracting him a little from what is going on exactly. I just wanna take him in my embrace in that exact moment but I can't.
The first day went by fast. We've done a couple of interviews and Cole did amazing.
„I'm so proud of you." I said after cuddling into his chest while laying in bed in the evening. He chuckled.
I know that these days are even harder for him because of his anxiety, but he just handled it so well.
The next day came by pretty quickly and today was the day we're gonna have the big panel.
That also means that the fans are able to ask us questions.. literally everything they want. And I know that this is what's gonna make cole nervous today.
He doesn't wanna talk about our relationship. I mean.. me neither but it's always harder for cole rather than for me to get asked about it.
It all went fine.. until one girl asked: „So this question is for cole and lili, how did you start dating?" she said, totally invading our privacy. That's just ridiculous and incredibly disrespectful to ask.
„Excuse me?" I just replied grabbing Cole's hand under the table so that nobody sees.
„This is such an inappropriate question to ask." Cami said making me nod.
I felt Cole starting to shake. I looked at him and gently rubbed over his leg. „Shh." I whispered but he looked at me anxiously. I didn't lie when I said he hates getting asked about what means the most to him: our relationship.
Suddenly he got up fast and ran off the stage. „Sorry" I said into the microphone and ran after him. How dare that person to ask such a disrespectful question.
„Cole?" I said while looking for him. No answer.
I then spotted him leaning with his back at the wall, breathing fast.
„Hey hey hey." I said worried and took him into my embrace as soon as possible. „Follow my breathing love, it's alright. Nothing happened."
He calmed down after a bit and looked at my anxiously. „I know you hate getting asked about our love but it's fine. You don't have to answer that okay?"
He nodded. „That person was hella disrespectful and it was just an inappropriate question to ask.. but I'm here with you, okay?"
„Okay.." he whispers. He then stood up and grabbed my hand, leading me to the stage again.
„Cole? What are you doing? It's fine if you don't wanna go again." I said confused.
„i feel better know after you've calmed me down. It's alright. Really." he said smiling a little.
„Let's show them how strong we are huh?" he added making me giggle.
