Lili was right now laying in bed and watching some netflix as her phone rang. She quickly picked it up and smiled as soon as Cole's face appeared on the screen.

„Hey love." he said smiling. Lili chuckled.
„Hey.. I miss you so much." she mumbled.

Cole and Lili aren't having an easy time right now. About 1 1/2 months ago Cole flew to LA to continue working on his podcast. Lili stayed at home in Vancouver for a few days to spend some time with Mads. But she didn't want to stay here forever. She wanted to fly to LA as well now that filming has shut down because of the coronavirus. But suddenly she wasn't able to anymore.

- a few weeks ago -

One day before she was meant to take a flight to LA she got a notification.
„Flight cancelled."

„What?" she mumbled confused. She opened her phone and quickly clicked on safari. That's when it hit her. The borders of Canada are closed. You're not allowed to go in or out anymore. Her chin dropped. And then another thing hit her: Cole.

She almost panicked at the thought of being all alone in Vancouver. As soon as she cannot see Cole for a few weeks her anxiety starts to act up stronger. And he can't be there for her.

Lili quickly dialed Cole's number and waited for him to pick up the call.

„Lils?" he said as he picked up.
„Cole..." Lili started to mumble. You can clearly hear the panic in her voice.

„Love, what's up?" Cole asked worriedly as he noticed.
Lili took a deep breath.
„You haven't heard?" she asked shaking.

„No no. What's up? Tell me." he replied.
„Canada... c - closed the borders." she stuttered. Cole went quiet.
„C - Cole..?"

„So.. you cannot come here?" he asked.
„No.." Lili whispered already feeling her anxiety acting up.

„Shit!" Cole exclaimed angrily.
„Cole I can't." Lili said weakly.

„Yes you can lili okay? We have to get through it. As soon as everything is up with you, you will call me alright?"

„Mhmm.." lili replied insecurely.
„Cole.. I don't know how long this will last.. what if I cannot see you in several months."

Cole sighed. „I know.. but it's for our safety and health after all okay? We will FaceTime a lot but you have to promise me that as soon as something is wrong you will call me alright? This is hard, I know. But we will make the best out of it." Cole said sadly. He sounded so worried.

- Present -

„Have you heard anything about when the borders are gonna be open again?" Lili sighed.
Cole shook his head.

„No.. but I miss you and I need you here with me." Cole mumbled and looked at her softly.

„Lils..? You okay?" he asked worriedly.
Lili nodded slightly.
„Yeah.. yeah I'm fine." Lili replied looking away.

„I'll come home as soon as the borders are open again." Cole said.
„Yes.. I love you." Lili smiled slightly.
„I love you too. We'll get through it."

- 2 weeks later -

Lili sat on her bed and cried a little while looking at photos of her and cole. They haven't seen each other for more than 2 months straight because of the closed borders. She's missing him like hell and cannot keep being sane without him. Her anxiety was acting up.

Her phone suddenly started to rang but she declined it without looking who it was and slowly drifted into sleep. She wasn't sleeping that much the past days and enjoyed every single second she was able to sleep.

The next day she woke up at 8am. She grabbed her phone and checked her messages. It said 11 messages by Cole.

[Cole]: Love!!
The borders are open again!!
Are you still up?
You declined my call!
I booked a flight for 9am tomorrow!
I'll be flying to Van to see you!!
Can you pick me up at 12?
You need to tell me or I gotta get a cab.
You're probably already asleep huh?😘
Anyways. Have a good night, can't wait so see you tomorrow.
I love you!!❤️

[Lili]: Oh my god I'm sorry that I haven't responsed! Yes of course I'm gonna pick you up I can't wait to see you!💛

Lili suddenly started smiling brightly. She's gonna see him again. She's gonna get her man back.

A few hours later she made her way to the airport. She started to shake as she was waiting for Cole to arrive. She wore sunglasses and a hat so that people won't recognize her.

She was nervously walking around. She seriously couldn't wait anymore.
And then. As soon as a black haired man  appeared in front of her Lili smiled brightly and ran up to him. She practically jumped into his arms and he wrapped his arms around her entire body. The hug was tight. Lili started to sob a little.

„Cole." she sobbed into his shirt.
„Hey.. lils.. everything's fine I'm here." he said smiling as he pulled away to look into her eyes.

She nodded and quickly connected her lips with his for a passionate kiss that lasted for a few seconds. They rested their foreheads one another as they pulled away for a breath.

„I missed you so much." Cole mumbled.
„I missed you too. But we're together now."
