Chapter 15

The next day Kid and Felix walked into the school, hand in hand.

Kid had only dreamed of this, and it was amazing. They got a lot of weird looks. Felix didn't care. So neither did Kid.

Everything was going well, until they were interrupted by a voice Kid knew all too well.

Cindy.

Felix and Kid turned to look at her, Kid preparing for the worst.

"About time" Cindy said, looking at their intertwined hands. Kid stared at Cindy. A look mixed between shock and confusion panted on his face. "Parden?" Felix said, looking just as confused as Kid. "I said about time. I see the way you idiots interacted around each other. I'm not blind." This was something Kid had not expected at all.

But then something clicked.

The voice..

It was Cindy!
