Chapter 20

•Jordyn's POV•

As soon as I saw him I wanted to kill him. Michael put his hand on my shoulder to ease my tense. "Calm yourself, none of us are happy right now and Ashton looks like he really likes the guy so please, at least try to be nice." Michael pleads.

I grab his arm and walk away from the group. I see Julia and Calum talking separately from the group as well. "Look Clifford" I poked his chest harshly. "My best friend was bullied by that douche. He made her life miserable. I don't give two fucks if Ashton likes him or not. She wanted to kill herself because of him and all he did was laugh about it. So no. I'm not gonna be nice and I won't try." I spat leaving Michael to process what I just said.

I walk back taking a seat next to Luke instead of Ashton because I want to be as far from Niall as I can. "Niall, this is my girlfriend Jordyn" Ashton introduces. He just smirks. God you don't know how badly I wanted to slap it off of his face.

"Hi Jordyn, Ashton has told me a lot about you" Niall half smiles.
I send Ashton a glare but he's to oblivious to notice. "Don't call me Jordyn, don't even speak to me and better yet, don't even look at me. Just you being here breathing the same air makes me want to strangle you." I snap surprising Ashton. Niall just laughs as I make a disgusted face.

Calum and Julia are walking towards the group. I can already tell she's scared. She should've listened to me when we were talking about him earlier.

"You know, I'm getting tired. Julia, lets go and get some rest." I grab our bag and Julia's hand as we run to the car.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" Julia chants. "I was getting scared and uncomfortable over there"

"You think I couldn't tell?" I let out a small laugh. "Hey Jordyn, if you want, you can always sleep over tonight or whenever you feel like it"

"Yeah, sure I can do that. We're just gonna go to my house so I can get my stuff." I smile and she nods.

•Ashton's POV•

I've never seen Jordyn snap at anybody like that. Why did she and Julia leave so quickly? They literally just got there.

"Ashton" Luke interrupts me from my thoughts. "I really have to tell you something about that Niall kid" he fumbles with his words.

Niall left at this point. It was getting dark. "Luke" Calum hisses. Michael just nudges him hard in the side.
"Anyways, what about Niall" I ask shaking my head. "He's a great guy right" I smile.

The three stay silent. "Well, uh, got to go! Bye" Luke runs off. "Um, yeah me too" Michael follows him. Calum just stays silent as do I.

There is just so much tension in the
air.

•Julia's POV•

We grab Jordyn's clothes and head to my house. I really don't want to go home. The weather is just amazing in Sydney and we don't have school tomorrow since today is Friday.

"I was thinking we could drop your stuff off at my house and walk around the city for a little bit" I suggest.

"I was thinking the same" she agreed. "What should we do tomorrow?" She asks.

"We?" I laugh. "Yes we! The boys and I always do something together on the weekends. And it's always nice to have another girl in the group" she admits.

So I'm officially apart of their group. It makes me happy that some people like me for me.

"We can go to the mall. I went there yesterday to get some things and that's where I met Luke" I say.

"Right! Luke works at Starbucks" she states. "Yeah, I think that's a great idea"

"Great" I smile.

We're walking in Main Street right now. "Do you want something to eat?" She asks. My stomach growls. "I'll take that as a yes" she pulls me into a small diner. "The food here is amazing" she beams sitting in a booth and I sit across from her.

In no time the waitress comes. "Hi! My name is Suzie how may I serve you?"

"Can I get the club sandwich with coke?" Jordyn questions.

"Of course dear and for you?" Suzie turns to me. "Um, I'll have the same, but with lemonade please" I say closing the menu and handing it to her. She nods and walks to get our meals.

"Thank you" I say. Jordyn puts her phone down and raises an eyebrow at me. "For what?"
"For everything. You and the boys have been so kind to me and I can't thank you enough. I'm glad you all like me for me and I don't have to go pretending I'm someone else just to please other people" I let out.

"You're a cool kid."

"Thanks?" I laugh and she does too. We were interrupted by Ashton..and Niall?

"Hey guys! I saw you and thought we drop by" Ashton chirps as he sits next to his girlfriend and Niall sits next to me. I scoot closer to the window spacing out the distance between us.

I sent out a quick text to Luke, Cal, and Mikey.

J- guys, he's here with Ashton at this diner in Main Street.

M- wtf, I say we all beat his ass.

C-we're just across from the diner.

L-we'll be there in less than a minute

J- thank you guys, I'm sorry if I sound annoying

M- you're not annoying! I'm annoyed at Ashton and this douche that keeps bothering you

J-don't blame ashton, he didn't know

L- true

C- we're here

And they were. "Julia! Hey! That's cool, we didn't expect to see you here" Michael says walking towards the booth. He squeezes in between Niall and I. Jordyn tries not to laugh but fails miserably.

Luke goes over Niall and sits next to Michael and Calum goes over all of us to sit next to the window causing Niall to fall off. "What the hell?! You know you could've just sat With Ashton!" His Irish accent rolls off his tongue.

"Blondie, just sit with Ashton" Michael shrugs. Niall rolls his eyes.

Suzie comes and brings us out food. "Yes! Finally I'm starving!" Calum leans forward. Soon enough the boys ate all of my and Jordyn's food. There was just one French fry left.

I picked it up only for it to be taken out of my hand by Luke. I send him a playful glare as we all laugh.

"There's a great ice cream shop down the street" Ashton finally spoke. "Great! Let's go" I smile.

One by one we all left the booth. I almost forgot that Niall was here.

Almost.

I got the superman ice cream while Jordyn got strawberry cheesecake.

Calum, Luke, Michael and Ashton all got chocolate and Niall just got vanilla.

"You guys are boring" Jordyn mutters. "Yeah, so boring that we got you ice cream" Ashton wraps his arms around her waist. They are the cutest.

"Aren't they cute?" Luke comes up behind me.
"I think you just read my mind" I laughed. "You know what they say, great minds think alike" he said poking his head.

"If you guys are gonna have sex, then do it somewhere else and not the ice cream shop" Michael says causing people to turn around and look at us.

Ashton just smiles while Jordyn's face becomes red.

"Nice going red" I say to him.
