A.N I'm not a big fan of this chapter, but hey I couldn't skip the rest of the day. And t's a chance to meet new people. Some of thease people are REAL thanks to my discussion on who wants to be a character in my story! Also, it starts to show why it's PG 13 because of some few minor words like bitch. Nothing big really. But I don't agree with Wattpad's ratings. But vote feedback and FAN if you haven't already, and if your a true fan of my favourite story to write, share it with friends or something. You don't have too, and I feel bad every time I ask you but I am seriously afraid that this story is just going to be an undiscovered gem.

I was walking from Human, Hemi and Daemn Biology. Ms Moore made the class interesting and vowed to help me catch up with the rest of the class in as little time as possible. Not that it was needed, I was taught all about the bodies of Daemn to fight them and quite a bit on humans. The only one I knew nothing about was Hemis, something my past teacher left out. Always the mysterious untouched subject that my teacher claimed to know little about. I say 'my teacher' in fear of giving out it's name. I used not he or she for fear of those who were telepathic. So Rae and I walked to our last class of the day. And since today was a nice day, the class was outdoors. Kids all stood in a circle around the teacher, who was a petite woman with leopard print eyelids and to long black sweeps. She held a slim sword in her hand and waited for the last of the students to arrive. We all did stretching before she spoke "You know the drill, fetch your armour and swords. Except you." She whipped her sword at me with lightning quick speed, Hemi speed, holding it but an inch from my neck. The others gave looks of sympathy before scrambling off to get themselves armour and swords. "Good, you didn't flinch. Mrs Krins by the way." She brought her sword down. "Today, I'll work with you personally but we aren't doing sword-work yet. We shall test out swords and armour sizes. But it's rare we use armour, we usually use fake swords or just train on the dummies."
I took of my bracelet and delicately took of the cross. Thing is it wasn't a cross. As I held the tip, it grew into a long silvery sword, the handle a perfect fit in my hand. The teacher looked at me in surprise. "Magic. Always a good choice against Daemn. Magic surrounds this school, you know. Keeps them from entering."
It was now me who was surprised, although I didn't show it. Fiona never mentioned magic in her confusing explanation of how alarms and iron kept Daemn at bay."Magic boundaries?"
"Yes, cast by the Priests. Holy magic is the best against demonic beings." I looked at my magic sword in wonder, like I did the first time I received it. Even if I did admire it and it's glowing marks every time I used it. But who knew the magic was holy?
"So God exists?"
"That's what they say, but just because it's called holy magic does not mean it really had holy origins. It's just what those stuck-up glorified magicians say. It could be Daemn magic for all we know! But we only know very little about it. The Priests even claim it was a holy being that started the Hemi race with the Queen of the Insolutos. But," She lowered her voice. "Some say we were born of the Daemn." Her voice went back to normal. "I couldn't care less about the religious crap, but magic blades are always good!"
The others all arrived in armour and with swords. Rae looked at my sword in surprise and wonder, a silent 'What? How?' sent with a look. I just smiled. "Take a partner and start! You know what to do." Mrs Krins started walking towards the school. "Well, come on then!"
I hurried after her, my Hemi speed would tip off humans to show that we aren't human. But in a Hemi place, it's useful. I made my sword into a cross again and attached it to my bracelet. We entered the building once more, into a giant gym loaded with dummies and rings and everything else needed for training against Daemn. She weighed a few wooden sticks before returning everyone but two to their perch. Then she went back outside.
