Later during the day, as the first day of junior year came to an end.  I ran into April once again.  We had lockers right next to each other this year.  Even though Hazel and I have always been wanting to get lockers next to each other. Anyway l look over to April who is staring at me with one of her widest smiles.  Seconds later shes screeching, which was one of her ways for getting attention.

"Alright, What? "my frustration ranges

"Ahh, Okay.  You know that new transfer student from first period today?"

"Ryder Avery?"

"Yes! Him!" she jumps in excitement.

"What about him?" I ask.

"What about him?! Ivy, how could you say that, everything about him is perfect."  Facing her back towards her locker in an amazed gazed which leaves her daydreaming.

I laugh a little, then I realize shes been daydreaming for a while and doesn't answered me for a while.

"April?"

"Huh?"

"Eww, are you drooling?" I laugh as I ask.

"Huh? What? oh gross I am,"  She wipes it off with her shirts sleeve.  "Thanks girl."

"No problem, what were you thinking about?" I smile and raise my eyebrows at her.

"I was thinking about the hottest guy in our school to ever exist, anyways I was talking about him before I got carried away. Right?" She laughs her nerves off

"Yes ma'am," I tell her.

"Anyway, during third period in English class. Ryder Avery was in the same class as me and I totally caught him staring at me for about 1-2 minutes strait."  She smiles in amazement.

"Really? That was all you wanted to tell me?" I say in my annoyed voice.

"Ivy, come on. This could mean something."

"Yeah it could mean he was noticing which people not to get involved wi-"

"IVY!" she gasps.

"I'm just kidding," I laugh it off

"You better be,"

"But April just because a guy looks at you for 1-2 minutes doesn't mean anything."  I finally lock my locker and we make our way outside to the parking lot.

"Yeah, I mean I guess you have a point.  But yet again how would you know if you have never dated anyone?"

"Trust me, I am so right on this one."

Seconds later as we finally reach the end of the hallway, but right as we get to the door of the school to go out into the parking lot, the crowd of the most popular guys comes face to face with us, whose face is seen first Jack Kingston. Well, here it goes once again.

"Well, if it isn't Ivy Ross or should I say Poison Ivy."  He looks down at me with the biggest smirk and turns to see all his other guy friends laughing.

"Well if it isn't Jack.  Hold on, for a second there I thought I called you Jack.  Sorry, I meant Jacklyn Kingston.  Hey, isn't that funny?"  I say sarcastically as I wink and smirk at him. His whole friend ground was jumping around him and started laughing at him.

"You know for a girl whose mostly quiet, you sure have a big mouth." He laughs to his buddies but they don't laugh.

"Thanks, as for you.  The funny thing for being a guy like you, you sure have a real pretty name, Jacklyn." I cross my arms together and continue to smirk and see his friends laugh.
