A few days later, on a Wednesday morning, Taehyung was walking with Jimin through the corridors of the sixth floor. They had nothing specific to do, no place they were heading, they were just walking.

Something was different, though...

Taehyung had woken up with a strange, restless feeling that morning. After seeing his friend had no appetite at all at breakfast, Jimin knew something was up with the boy. So, needless to say, he went into best-friend-mode and decided to take Taehyung for a walk. Maybe not a real walk, outside – because it was absolutely pouring – but a walk nonetheless.

"So yesterday, before Quidditch, I found out Kkanji had climbed into Hagrid's house through the chimney! Can you imagine! So I told him he shouldn't do something reckless like that again and just mew at the front door. I assured him Hagrid would be friendly enough to invite him in, but you know Kkanji – he's kinda scared of people bigger than us. Sometimes even runs off when good ol' Namjoon comes near."

Taehyung was ranting about random things, and Jimin was a good listener, so he'd stayed quiet and listened to everything his friend was saying, but his worry had only grown.

"Taehyung, wait." Jimin said, stopping. Taehyung turned around and looked at Jimin with a questioning look on his face. That is, until he saw the way Jimin was looking at him. There was no need to say anything, because he knew exactly what Jimin was thinking.

"I know you want to know, Chim, but my thoughts are so dumb. I'm overthinking things, but not in a Jungkook or Namjoon way. No...in the stupid Taehyung way." He said, mumbling the last part.

Jimin smiled a sympathetic smile. "You're not stupid, Taehyung-ah. You're actually very clever. I know people sometimes tell you that you're dumb, but you shouldn't believe them."

"And you shouldn't believe you are weak." Taehyung blurted out, making Jimin pout. He realized his mistake straight away and looked away. "I-I'm sorry, that was..." he trailed off.

He didn't really know what to say...even though it was something he'd want to tell Jimin for a while now. He knew what the Slytherin was feeling, but he struggled to come up with how to help him through it.

Taehyung tried to find the right words to say, but Jimin shook his head and smiled at Taehyung.

"It's okay." Jimin quickly reassured him. "Let's just focus on you now, shall we?"

Taehyung immediately looked back at him with a pout on his face.

"I don't like that..." Taehyung mumbled.

"The focus being on you?" Jimin questioned.

Taehyung nodded. Just at that moment, they had arrived at the end of the corridor. This corridor had big windows at the end and the windowsills were big enough for the boys to sit on, so they did. Looking outside, Taehyung could see Hagrid's little house and some students practicing their dueling skills in the fields.

"I don't like this situation at all..." Taehyung said, not looking Jimin in the eyes. Still, Jimin was looking at his, and he saw the deep thoughts in them.

"Last year...last year was terrifying. Even though the second half wasn't that bad, I mostly remember the bad things of the first half. I don't like that, y'know? I want to remember the happy things. And this year started, and everything was going well...until something happened again...and it had to happen to me. Worst thing is, I don't remember anything. And now I'm the one with a problem."

"What do you mean?" Jimin asked softly. Taehyung was slightly rambling and Jimin was a little confused.

"Well...last year...i-it was Yoongi-hyung- well, it was all of us, but you know...his parents...and..." Taehyung trailed off, not really feeling comfortable saying those things.
