Chapter Two- The End Is A New Beginning

"Ugh...."
My body..it felt like I got hit by a train..
I slowly sat up,just to find myself into a severe place covered in glistening red stones and lava pouring out of most cracks. As my vision slowly stopped itself from blurring,I took a better look around the place. My eyes glanced up to see a man with pale skin and dark features,disguised in a large black cloak. "oh hi" I said. He raised an eyebrow as if it wasn't the reaction he had expected.
Then,he spoke.
"You... Do realise you're in Hell?.."
As I opened my mouth to speak,something caught my attention. My eyes shifted back and forth from the person to the man in front of me twice before I looked at the other dude in the distance. "OH HI JEFFREY!!!" I yelled as I waved,catching the frog man's gaze. The man in front of me made a weird face as he was even more confused than I was.
One question.
Why did I do that?
My answer?
I have no idea but it was worth it.

"Welp." I stood up as shook my hands as if to wave the dust off. Then,the man spoke once more,just to get interrupted by me."I am--"
"OH HEY IS THAT A WHEEL???" I pointed to a colourful fortune wheel which had words that described certain animals- most of them being reptiles and amphibians. Besides the wheel there was a short cue of funny looking creatures and humans.
"Tokko-"
"Huh?"
"you died."
I looked back at the man. This time he sure had my observation.
He continued to speak.
"I am the Grim Reaper,the legend who has brought you here to choose how you wish to live your afterlife."
"Wait,wait..."
He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Is this a dream? Punch me!"
"I-"
"For reals,dude I expected the Grim Reaper to be some stinky old savage who had a skull for a head!" I laughed at my own joke. The Grim just shook his head with a sigh before grabbing me by my elbow.
Then,I felt an indescribable pain flow through my body. "OW! WHAT THE-"
"You're hurt,I know,but it's better if you don't know. Soon you'll be healed and your memories will be wiped."
"Saywhatnow-"
Without further explanation,I was brought to the head of another cue,this one longer. Before me was a throne with a...strange looking human sitting on it. She wore an elegant robe.
Her elbow was placed on the arm of the throne as her cheek rested on her hand. She looked down at me with a smirk as she had one leg above the other.
"Welcome,Tokko!" She seemed quite polite despite the intimidating looks. She waved the Grim Reaper off to get a respectful nod from him as he vanished into the crowd of people.
"As you may have heard, you're in Hell! Though fret not! You won't be harmed! I am Queen Yemma,the ruler and almighty leader of this place,and you are here to choose however you may wish to live your afterlife."
I gave this a thought for a second..
Any way?...
I smirked.
"CAN I BE A SUPER COOL ROBOT WITH FLARING GUNS AND MISCHIEVOUS WEAPONS?!!"
"No. Not yet,at least. You have two choices. You can see what your fate shall be right here ,right now.." I noticed as she pointed to the wheel which had caught my attention earlier. "yet the results may not be pleasing."

As soon as she said that,a man had landed on the word "frog". He yelped as he bounced back a bit,and with a poof he had been morphed into a nasty looking amphibian. I gritted my teeth in response,mumbling to myself "Yeesh.."
"Oooorr.. you can attend to Reincarnation High for three years and choose whatever you wish to be in your next life! What do you say?"
I totally wanted to be a robot.
"I'll go for the second op-"
"Toodles,have fun!" She wiggled her fingers at me before everything flashed a blinding white. I screamed as I felt like I was falling into an endless hole.

"Ugh....where..am I..." I rubbed my head as I sat up a bit to lean on my elbows. As I glared ahead of me, I could see that I was in front of a ginormous building. A school.
"Oh, right.."
I randomly began tapping at my face. My eyes widened as I felt..gaps? In my skin. Thankfully,some random mirror was placed in my hand. I looked at myself in the reflection,to see half of my face burned and one of my pupils blinded. I gasped in shock. "What the f-" I screeched as I yeeted the mirror weakly.

It hadn't gone far.
"Okay but my eye do be looking kinda hot." I shrugged as I got up and picked up the mirror,looking around.
"hEllOoo- anYone tHerE?"
Just then,I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see a tall,beautiful girl stand above me.
As soon as she saw my face she flinched slightly,seeming scared. I only chuckled.
"Don't worry,I don't bite!" I smiled as gently as I could,pointing to the holes in my cheek.
She just let out a small sigh.
"Do you know where we are?" She asked.
"Noooot really,though in terms of what happened I'd say we're at Reincarnation High School. By the way,nice horns."
"H-Horns? Wha- Are you talking to me?"
"Well,you're the only one here,soo,mhm!" I gave her the mirror that I randomly found and she took it. As soon as she saw herself,she seemed like she was about to scream,though she got interrupted. She looked behind me. I couldn't help but turn and look the same way.
"Hello. You must be Yui and Tokko. Welcome to Refund High. I am Dicarius,and frankly,I'll have to wipe out your memories."
"Wh- No!" The girl beside me yelled.
"Fear not," he pulled something from his pocket and showed it to us. "This is a memory capsule. Every time you do something worthy with purpose, you'll earn one. They allow you to see small portions of your previous life."
"Woahhhh.." I stared at the capsule in excitement.
Then,everything went white,again.
