Chapter Five - Class Time

I was late.
As soon as things had calmed down after we got registered in Art Club,I decided I needed to use the restroom,so Yui just went ahead of me to her class. I'm pretty sure we're in the same classes actually,which seems pretty legit! I can't wait to see who the teacher is. As I turned on the tap and began washing my hands,I glanced up at myself in the mirror. I stared. Half of my face was normal,yet the other was full zombie. I huffed as I turned it off and dried my hands,walking out of the bathroom.

I opened the door and looked around. The teacher looked up at me and glared. "You're late." She muttered. I shrugged and just walked over to an empty seat in the middle row. I sat down and leaned on my desk,tapping my fingers on the fresh,polished wood. Soon enough,a ridiculous silence fell over the class as we were all stuck listening to the teacher chatter about disgusting science-y things. "Okay then, grab your notebooks and write this down." She turned and grabbed a piece of chalk,then pressed it against the board. Her handwriting was smooth and leaned outwards. All you could hear was the gentle scratching of the chalk and thumping noises from upstairs.
Wait...what?
I sat up slightly and turned to Yui,tapping her on the shoulder.
"Hey what's that noise?" I asked,whispering.
"I dunno. Prolly just the gym from upstairs" she replied.
I fell quiet as a thought crossed my mind.
"Sounds like the noise from my parent's room at midnight." I joked out loud as I snickered. The entire class burst into laughter,causing the teacher to jump. I eventually joined in,cackling. I don't even have parents!

"TOKKO,GET OUT!!!!" The teacher's voice snapped as it topped all of the laughter from the room. Everyone instantly shut their mouths,clearly intimidated. "Gee,it was just a joke,but okay."
"Are you talking back to me? Get out, now! Go to the principal's office!!"
I shrugged and stood up, then walked out of the room.

Zero's POV:

I watched as she walked out. I was sat at the back of the class,in the left corner of the room. I panicked as I knew I had to get out there- I had to be with her! This was my chance and I wasn't going to miss it. I took hold of my pencil and yeeted it across the room,hoping it would hit the teacher. And it did.

She turned,giving me a death stare as she clearly knew where it came from. She raised her arm and pointed towards the door. I got up and quickly strolled out,shutting the door behind me. I looked around to search for Tokko; yet there was no sight of her. I sighed as I just dropped my emotions and began walking to who knows where.

Tokko's POV:

I ended up sitting all by myself in the cafeteria. It was admirable how quiet it was,though being lonely wasn't so pleasurable.
Just then,footsteps could be heard echoing through the hallway. I felt my hair rise on end as a shiver sprinkled down my spine in the fear of it being s teacher. My eyes widened as I looked around. As I stared intensely at the corner,I relaxed my shoulders to see the ghost dude. Better than a teacher,but I still hate him. He looked up at me and just walked over, standing across me. I also rose to my feet and spoke "What do you want?"
"Mind if I join in?"
"Go to fuck off." I walked off. Just to be followed. I didn't look as I heard him walking beside me.
"I don't bite,kitty~~"
I gave him a death stare before his expression changed to shocked for a second,then he laughed it off gently.

Without warning,he pinned me to a wall. I shrieked as I looked up at him
"W-what are you doing?!?!"
He leaned in as he whispered in my ear softly.
"My dorm number's 909. If you need me whenever,I'll be there."
"I-"

Just then, I froze as I saw someone with the corner of my eye. My eyes shifted over to see Yui. I gasped to myself. "YUIII! HELP,THIS ISN'T EHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" she had a horrified expression. She didn't say anything,but just ran off.
I sighed.
"Look,buddy,that's a bit too personal. Don't get any ideas,I'm not interested." I pushed him off and chased after my best friend.
