Rose's POV

I giggled uncontrollably, Dean giving me the stink eye. To hell if I was annoying him, I really didn't care right now. My mind was hazy. Wow, I must have drinken more alcohol than I thought.

"Rose-" Dean began, hesitantly placing a large hand on my knee. I laughed harder, confusing him. I grabbed his wrist and held his palm up to my face, examining it closely. "Your hands are so big!" I observed. Dean scoffed and removed his hand from my grasp. "Rose, what the hell happened here?" He questioned, gesturing to Sam and I's mess around the room.

"We got drunk, DUH." I rolled my eyes. What did it look like? "I know that." He sassed back. "But why?"

"Why not?" I retorted. Dean rubbed his temple in frustration. "Jesus Christ." He mumbled under his breath. I crossed my arms and sat back. "No offense princess," he began again. "But you don't look like the wild let's-get-wasted kind of girl."

"Well, you don't know me, sooo..." I trailed off, my vision blurring a bit. I squeezed my eyes shut. "You're right." Dean said. I opened my eyes. Was Mr. I'm-Always-Right agreeing to something someone else said? "What?" I asked dumbly.

"I don't know you. So why don't you tell me something about you?" Dean suggested. "Okay, like what?" I played along. "My favorite color?"

"I was thinking something more along the lines of 'why are demons hunting you?'" I thought for a moment. "I don't have a flipping clue." I said truthfully. Dean looked at me with disbelief, but I shook my head. "I don't!" I whined.

"So they're just randomly following you, a regular human girl?" Something about the way he said "human girl" made me feel uneasy. "I dunno." I shrugged. I started to zone out as a long pause insued. I felt sleepy, and it turned into an internal battle with my eyelids.

"My parents are dead. They were murdered when I was 6." I blurted out. All I caught was Dean turn to me with a curious look on his face before my world turned to black.

Dean's POV

I quickly reached my arms out to wrap them around her waist, stopping her fall to the ground. Her eye lashes fluttered against the soft skin of her cheek, but otherwise she was very unconscious. I grunted as I stood to my feet, resting her gently against my side as I gained my footing. I pulled her close to me as I guided her back to my-well, now her- bed.

Sam was still sleeping soundly as far as I could tell. That kid was damn lucky, always a sound sleeper. Me, I could barely get two hours in anymore.

I placed her small body gently on the bed. This was all too familiar now, dragging her unconscious body to her bed.

I couldn't help but think about what she said. Her parents were murdered? I guess Sammy was right, we should have checked her file before she started hanging with us.

Rose shifted slightly and I made sure her head was in the middle of her pillow. Dragging the ugly duvet covers up to her chin, she sighed contently before letting a small snore work past her lips.

I felt something tug at my lips. A smile? That couldn't be right, I haven't smiled in...well forever.

"Why are you smiling?" A groggy voice interuppted my contemplation.

I turned my head more to see my brother, who was now sat with his back against the crappy headboard, rubbing his eyes. "I'm not." I said simply, my expression turning grim.

"Yeah, whatever you say Dean." Sam said rolling his eyes. "What are you doing up so early anyway? You were piss-a*s drunk when I put you to sleep." I complained, changing the topic.
