Chapter 48:The job offer

Marco POV
I just arrived home. I open the door and saw Star and Janna sitting at the couch. Star saw me and greeted me. "Welcome home Marco!" "Sup dude" Janna said. "Yeah. Anyway where's Tom?" Janna then said "Oh his in the toilet" and suddenly he arrives. "Marco what's up?" "Hey man nothing just came back from the training center" "Oh"

"Anyway I think I saw Mr S earlier!" "Really?!" "Yeah dude" "So it's true?" "I don't know. Want to confirm it?" "Sure but how?" and Janna interrupt "We go to his place" "Brilliant idea Janna!" And then we went going.

Jim POV
I was chilling in the bathtub after half a day meeting with some clubs offer. When suddenly my younger sister knock the door and said "Jim your friends are here" "Wait what? Seriously?" "Yeah, now go get ready" "I know I know" and got out. I put on some simple clothes but still presentable.

I walked to where they were waiting and ask "Hello, what are you guys doing here?" "Oh we just wanted to ask about the Man United rumours. Is that true?" I sigh and said "Yes but still in negotiations" "Oh will it be long?" "Maybe in the coming weeks" "Alright" and then we talked awhile before they left.

~a couple of days later~

I was in a meeting with the Manchester United chairman and the club board. I then say "So do we have a deal?" "20 million a year and 50 million payout!? Who do you think you are!" "The guy who will save this club" and then it went silent. They were suprise by how I respond.

The chairman said "I will give you the 20 million a year salary but I'm going to give you a 32.4 million payout" "Hmm" "and a 2 million bonus on each trophy you win" "Deal!" We shake hands while the rest look in shock.

I walk out of the meeting room and went to my car. I use the new Mercedes I bought. While I was driving I decided to call Bella and tell her about the news. "Hey Bella I got some great news!" "Really? What is it?" "I just got the Manchester United job!" "Really?! Congrats" "and that means you can go back to work right" "Yup" "Alright in that case see you" "see you too boss" and we laugh.

After that I told Marco and Tom and they were excited as well. I even told them that I will put them in the first team at the Community Shield later.

I arrived at my house and walk in. I told the news to my sisters and they quickly hug me. After that I went to my room and lay on my bed. I think to myself "I wish you guys could be here" while thinking about my wife and daughter who is now, just a memory.
