Chapter 46: The unexpected

Jim POV
I just finished my breakfast, when suddenly I got a call from Marco. I answer it and said "Hello Marco, what is it?" "Oh nothing just wanted to let you know that we're having dinner tonight with Star,Tom, Janna and Bella" "Okay so?" "Can you come?" "Sure why not. Anyhow why though?" "Oh nothing" "hmmm, okay" "Alright then see you soon. Also bring your family too" then he hung up.

I said to myself "I knew there's something fishy. 'Sighhhh' it's time to tell them anyways" after that I pay the food and went straight to my car. I drove to the airport. I park my car and went in. I waited them at the arrivel area.

~4 hours later~

I was getting worried. I tried to call her but she didn't answer. Then suddenly a group of officers came to me and said "Hello are you Jim Simon?" "Yes I am" "Alright Mr Simon I got some sad news. The jet that bringing your wife and daughter.... Crash landed" "What!!!! You kidding right!?" "I'm afraid not." I then had tears coming out of my eyes.

It was already 6:30 pm. I just came back from the airport after hearing the News. I park my car and came into my house. Both of my sister saw me and quickly hug me. Rachel my younger sister said "It's gonna be fine" and then my older sister Shelly said "We're here okay" I hug both of them tightly.

I then let go and said "I'm going to freshen up. I have dinner outside" and walked to my room.

Marco POV
Me and Star just arrived at the place where we're having dinner. When we found the table, everyone had already arrived except Mr S. We sit down next to each other and I ask "Where's Mr S?" Then Tom said "I don't know, do you know where he his Bella?" "No idea"

Then suddenly Mr S arrived. He was wearing sunglasses with black clothing. He sat down and Janna ask "So where are they? Also why are you wearing a sunglasses?" "Ummm..." Then Bella interupe "Yeah Jim?!" "They..." "They what?!" "I..I..." "Can't come? Why because you want to keep this a secret!? You can't!" "I'm sorry"

Bella POV
The tension were building. I was getting to lose my temper. I stood up and said "Spill it Jim! Where are they?!" then I grab his glasses causing him to cover his eyes. "Why are covering your eyes?" He sigh and show his eyes, It was red. "W.. what happened?" "I cried... because I got a news that the jet that bringing them, crash landed"

All of us were silence. It was really shocking. I put my hands on his shoulder and said "I'm sorry" "It's okay" "How did you know her?" "We used to be best friend when we were in highschool but then because of college we split up. I never saw her every since, until at Italy. She was continuing her studies to have PhD. I was just having a cup of coffee at a cafe and she accidentally bum into me. After that we become close again and more closer. After a few months we got married secretly, only our family knew this. Happy now?"

"I'm sorry to hear that" "alright anyway I'm gonna go. I don't have a appetite now" he then left. I stand up and chase him. I followed him to his car and hug him. He turns and bends over to hug me back. I'm quite short. He put his head on my shoulder and said "I miss them" "Let it all out" while tapping his back.
