"Why do we have to go walking back in the woods? When it's freezing, and there are leaves literally everywhere?" I whined to my boyfriend as I stumbled over a stick that was poking up through the various littered leaves. I reached out and clutched onto Liam's arm to catch my balance, silently enjoying the warmth he was giving off.

"Because, it will be fun, and it gets us out of the house. Plus, its exercise," Liam nodded, looking down at me as he stopped walking to chuckle lightly, "Wait, aren't you allergic to exercise?"

"Oh shush," I said, slapping his arm playfully and seperating myself from him. "No, no, maybe this can be fun. But the question is, do we know where we are going?"

"Well, the house is right there," Liam turned to point up the hill where our large two story house sat, perched by itself. "So, as long as we keep that in site, we should be good. Right?"

"Do you have your phone? You know, just in case your little plan there doesn't work out and we end up lost in a woods that basically goes on forever."

"Yeah, it's right here," Liam nodded, patting his back pocket where you could see the clear outline of his square shaped iPhone. "Now c'mon, let's stop standing here and actually walk." He reached over and snatched my hand, leading me through the clearest path that led around most of the trees and briars that poked out everywhere.

He was nice about holding back branches for me so they didn't whip back and smack me in the face. He pointed out sticks in front of us so I wouldn't trip in my way-too-big purple rubber boots, and even decided to pick up some leaves and stick them in my hair as accessories.

We ended up both pulling sticks of trees that were around us, and stopping in the middle of the open area to have a mini sword fight, with just ended up with us having a fit of giggles as Liam stole my stick and had both, repeatedly poking me in the sides with each of them.

As he finally stopped poking me, the game apparently getting old, we both ended up silent, staring around the open area that was dotted with orange, yellow, and red leaves, along with some green plants sticking up between the spaces. A soft wind blew through, ruffling some of the leaves that still remained in the trees and on the ground, some whirling into tiny tornado's. I shivered involuntarily, wrapping my arms tighter around myself and burrying my hands deep down into the pockets of my jacket.

"You cold?" Liam asked, breaking the silence as the wind died back down, leaving us in that same peacful atmosphere again.

"I am a bit, yeah," I said timidly, looking up at him as he stepped closer, wrapping both arms tightly around me and pulling me into him. I burried my face down into his chest, wrapping both my arms around his thin torso, enjoying all the body heat he was raidiating, forgetting about the cold wind that was stirring.

"Hey Liam?" I asked suddenly, my voice muffled from within the fabric of his jacket.

"Yeah?"

"Where are we?"

I felt his chest vibrate as he let out a low chuckle, reaching under my chin with two fingers and pulling my gaze up to meet his. "Who cares?" Then his lips met mine, the wind, cold, leaves, and being lost long forgotten with one simple motion.

(:

I thought this one was cute. I thought of the idea today because I was forced to walk like four miles back into my woods with my grandpa and stepdad.

Hope YOU liked it(:
